There was a rigged primary and a rigged election. But the republicans rigged it in Detroit. There was something like 75,000 missing votes. That's in a heavily black (democrat) district. Trump only won Michigan by 10,000 votes. And the republican Attorney General won't allow the recount. Why would you not think that the republicans are who are behind the rigging?

In any case, they should do the (hand) recount and that should end the story.

Koods, what do you have to say about this?

http://www.npr.org/2016/12/19/506188169/donald-trump-poised-to-secure-electoral-college-win-with-few-surprises

As we all predicted, Trump won the electoral election and will be president. All the noise about electors defecting was entirely smoke and mirrors in attempt to delegitimize the election. Your predictions of the outcome is just more evidence of how out of touch people like you are.

Also for Mr. Koods...

http://www.marketwatch.com/story/faithless-electors-so-far-are-democrats-not-republicans-2016-12-19

Quote:

The 2016 presidential election continues to defy expectations as “faithless electors” emerged among Democrats refusing to support Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton.

In the run-up to the vote of the Electorial College, all eyes had been on whether any Republican electors would refuse to vote for Donald Trump. There had reports of last-ditch lobbying asking electors to switch from Trump to Clinton.

Instead, it has been Democratic electors who were balking.

In Washington state, three Democratic electors voted for Colin Powell and one for Faith Spotted Eagle, who has been fighting the Dakota Access Pipeline in North Dakota, instead of Clinton.

Donald Trump, 304 | Hillary Clinton, 166 | Other, 6

Massive defections sure turned this around.

:lolsy:

And yet, I'm still glad Clinton lost and still sad Trump won.

Just curious, what specific policies do you think Trump will pass that will hurt the country? I can see being against Trump's demeanor and personality, but I think 80% of the policies he has proposed will be a gross benefit to the country. Stuff like building the wall is the thing I disagree with most, but that's not even on the table for the first 100 days (so far).

Trump is mentally ill. His cabinet is abhorrent. He's a Russian puppet. He's dumb as rocks.
