Election day political poem
    #23813466 - 11/08/16 05:24 PM (7 years, 3 months ago)

Federalists and Republicans*

F for Federalist
And a federal republic
Strong central government
An untrustworthy public

R for Republican
Though not the conservative type
Smaller central government
No internal hype

F for a strong military
And a U.S. central bank
Leanings toward monarchy
Supporting those of rank

R for strong states' rights
A good framework agrarian
Thomas J. and all his boys
Often play the contrarian

F for higher taxes
And also increased spending
A lack of trust in the people
Leaves many statesmen fending

R for social liberty
Pure democracy too
Cut taxes, reduce spending
Were they red or blue?

Politics evolves, you see
Our platforms oft defined
By the era that's upon us
Left and right need not align

*The Federalist party was our nation's first political party, existing from the early 1790s to about 1820.  George Washington and John Adams were its most famous adherents.  The Republican, a.k.a. Democratic-Republican, party existed in roughly the same time-frame and was the party of Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.  I have done my best to outline their major positions, and intended to point out how fascinatingly different politics was at the turn of the nineteenth century compared to today.

Ok I get it your really pissed.
Blinded by shared red mist.
Lashing out because you can.
By electing this horrible man.

But how the fuck have you not seen.
That he is the epitome of the system your trying to break.
He knows no other than what has already been.
He's gorged himself on your share and then stole your cake.

Stockholm syndrome dictating action surely.
Nobody with all the info could vote so poorly.
He was just a failed  portion of your society.
Now forever will be worshipped as your evil deity.

I know there will be regret.
You now have lost credibility.
The world will never forget.
This day the crecendo point of Unsustainability.

Let's not joke,
(And they both are one)
Russian roulette,
With a derringer gun.

We had to pull the trigger
Or we wouldn't see the day
Our collective brains
Were blown away.

Favorite entheogen experiences in descending order:
1)Combo of oral DMT + smoked Bufotenine
2)Amanita (urine drank twice)
3)Mushrooms > Achuma 16"+cid(still need higher dose Achuma)> Cid (still need high dose)
4)Morning Glory-HBWR (+cumin, cinnamon aldehyde adducts) > Methyl chavicol (need more activators)
5)Salvia (need to try quid)

All readable matter in the above post is ficticious... any similarities to real life are purely coincidental.

Blessing.
