Seeking gets old, looking around at the world and enjoying its mystery never does. Those who need an answer typically don't even know what questions to ask, but think they need to keep trying.

To me, that getting is just spiritual connection, or communion with god. There's nothing cognitive there, just overwhelming feeling.

Even entertaining the concept of there being anything to get is failure.

Otoh, getting implies duality -- something getting something else. Spiritual connection usually implies wholeness, ime.

So if I say I think I get it then I fail?

The right thing to do is just to live.
However, it might be the correct role of fellows like us to sit around here and argue about who gets it or not. In which case, we're doing well!

I think while in the midst of a dualistic condition, it makes sense to use dualistic concepts as a pointer to a way "out". from a state without the dualism occurring, then of course there is no need for any concepts (all of which involve the assumption of dualism). and that said, I do not think dualism is a mistake that should not exist, I do not think there is a better reality of solely unity with no appearances or change for eternity (even without the ability to cognize that one is without duality, as that too is a dualism). everything serves it's purpose that said, some experiences feel nicer

Yes, agree. It's almost a paradox, isn't it? It's as if as soon as one considers the possibility of a certain thing one is already locked into a certain set of limitations on one's perspective.
I like to think of it in terms of feminine and masculine. One thinks in a feminine fashion when one thinks all is one, and one thinks in a masculine fashion if one sees the divisions and distinctions between things.
Thus dualism is a very rudimentary masculine perspective.
For me if have been fighting, anxious or stressed I like to take the feminine perspective, chill out and think about how all is one. If I am bored or have been doing repetitive thought or action I like to take the masculine perspective and think about something new and how things are different.
I think that both approaches have their place. Ironically, disagreeing with me here also has its place.

yeah I tend sometimes to feel that the heart feels/knows unity while the head thinks/knows division, and that they work together. seeing them as separate is the domain of the head, whereas feeling their integration is the domain of the heart... if that makes sense and yes, everything has a place!
and even saying head and heart is a function of the head to the heart, there is nothing discernible in concepts of course, just a spacious knowingness of being, or something

Yes, it makes perfect sense. Gold is a more malleable metal than silver, but silver would be better for making tools out of. Do you know what I mean? I think you do.
