What will you do tomorrow? * 1
    #23814210 - 11/08/16 09:24 PM (7 years, 2 months ago)

The only question that matters... right after "what are you going to do today?"

I may be applying for a passport. You?

I'll be thinking about the yesterday I thought that I was thinking of today as if I was seeing into the future tomorrow, but at least I have something to works towards in the now.

I'm going to meet a woman in charge of an art exhibition that will be showing works of homeless people and people living on the fringe to show her some of my work and possibly be accepted to show my art in the exhibition.

Be making sure I continue to live life on my terms, so that if tomorrow I get run down by the proverbial bus, I'll know beyond doubt that I lived my life to the best of my ability. Sounds cheesy as fuck, but pretty much that 'live every day like it was your last' kinda gig.

I had a moment in the mirror tripping on 2C-B this morning, and felt a massively powerful realisation that if my only judge in this life is myself, then I've got no problems at all. To quote a poem (in fact the only poem that's ever resonated with me) I love:

He’s the fellow to please – never mind all the rest
For he’s with you, clear to the end
And you’ve passed your most difficult, dangerous test
If the man in the glass is your friend.

I really fucking like/love me, so doing whatever I must to continue to cultivate and feel that is my goal for every day (even if some days are an epic fail in this regard, surely they're just lessons if you look at them right...).

I got my passport renewed a couple of weeks back, gonna be a real treat to leave the UK on my British one and waltz into Aus on my Australian one. I called an old, old friend quite synchronistically today; he'd just got off the phone applying to get into Aus - turns out I might be able to sponsor him to get over there, which makes it even more of a treat - being able to help another.

What's your goal in obtaining a passport P_T? What delights and treasures in this big wide world are you gonna riding off into the sunset towards?

--------------------
Let it be seen that you are nothing. And in knowing that you are nothing... there is nothing to lose, there is nothing to gain. What can happen to you? Something can happen to the body, but it will either heal or it won't. What's the big deal? Let life knock you to bits. Let life take you apart. Let life destroy you. It will only destroy what you are not.

I will wake up around 8am, shower, smoke a blunt, watch some YouTube, make and eat breakfast, work on a sculpture with an engraving machine, go to the shops, read up on aquatic and atmospheric pollution, eat dinner then go to sleep before 10pm.

Most men lead lives of quiet desperation. ~ Thoreau

It is time for some noisy desperation. :cookiemonster:

As my life is winding down, I feel as if I have missed something important, but that may be some sort of religious/spiritual guilt. Perhaps mere survival is the only goal and the rest is just frosting. No other animals (to our knowledge) rub their paws/flippers/fins/mandibles/tentacles together in angst about what their life purpose is.

I hope you forgive me for making such a bold assumption, but I reckon I know exactly what the heart of this feeling is. It has something to do with a 'twin flame' experience IMO, and accepting what cannot be proven. We've talked for many hours OC, and I always come away from our chats feeling like the answer is right under your nose - you just angle your head so that you don't see it.

This is not a criticism man. I'm half your age, so perhaps I see it easier, or perhaps I'm just an immature moron with an idealistic streak. But I have a strong gut feeling that this 'important something' is right there for you to see - you just gotta tilt your head to the right angle.

Once I figure out the time difference between us, we'll catch up, and talk about chopsticks, spoons, soup, the and the number 42.

I'll tell you straight - I've never met a man so obsessed with proof as yourself. I get it, you're a fucking massively intelligent guy with a hugely scientific bent. But, IMO, that tendency is what is keeping you from grasping your 'something important, but that may be some sort of religious/spiritual guilt'.

Look, I maybe just some whacko drug fiend who talks nonsense to people. But the fact that you admitted to feeling that way a few posts back, on top of all that we've shared, and all that I've felt in our hours of conversing, just solidifies for me that in order to find your 'something important' you're gonna have to drop the need for proof and evidence.

I love you man, and I wanna see you touch and feel the undefinable something that is in every one of us. I only want the best for you, as any good friend would.

I'll erase this post if you don't want it in public, just PM me, going to bed in 20 mins. And I'll take your Russell Crowe and raise you an Arnold Schwarzenegger in the meantime - Crowe wouldn't stand a chance...

That you are, but that brain of yours is a fucking machine. Remember those 10,000HP+ dragsters? That's like your brain compared to the average persons car that's pushing 240HP.
