2700 Kelvin?

Hello all. Its urgent so i must open a new topic...

I went into the store and all cfls regardless of wattage were 2700 kelvin... I bought 12w 60eq 2700 Kelvin... can i use it?

Fucking eastern europe, right? I bought an 6500k led strip, fixed my growing direction.

You want a bulb that matches the light of the Sun

2700 is light with the quality of a old yellow lightbulb (orange), 6500k is like sunlight (blueish white)

Anything 5500-7500K  will work well.  People have found that 6500K is optimal, but you can go slightly in either direction and still have great results. 

I wouldn't lean anymore than that though, or you just aren't going to get much of an effect at all.

You want more than 1000 lumens per tub too. Led lights are not very intense

I've found that 800 lumens works just fine in close proximity.  But I agree, the more lumens, the brighter the light is going to shine on those magnificent fruities.

So 2700 could work for one mono? Ive gone through all shops and malls and only 2700
