Hello all, I'm new to the Shroomery. I've been reading for a while, before posting and have found Loads of excellent information here. With some encouragement from great guys like Starter and KentuckyPWRLFTR, I'm trying my hand at mushrooms. I haven't gotten started yet, so I'll toss up a pic of a few flowering ladies in my current garden

Shriek...It's an unknown Indica, I got a few seeds in a very expensive ounce a while back, and grew out a female as a mother plant. ( I have some much better Genetics getting started as I type this!! NL, WW, and JFxSS...pics to come as they grow..thanks to Starter!) The jellyhash is a mix of kif and hash oil. Thanks, Neuro! I hope to be posting pics of beautiful mushrooms as well soon!! Golden Teacher will be first!

Thank you greenhaze. They bloom under 100watts of hortilux HPS, and the moms get 350watts of MH. SOG style.. I take, then root clones, and flower them with no veg time.

If you're working on a thread and you want to include a list of pictures. Say you're displaying a masterpiece of a grow operation or grow room, or a threads like starter's Poppy Cultivation through refinement and bubble hash thread (sorry i don't feel like diggin up the link but you may know what i'm talking about or lookin the FAQ [it's archived there]). Then by all means contact me if you see me online (AIM: "inet neuro") or shoot me a pm if you reach your upload limit and cannot finish uploading your pictures for a thread with an archetype like a few of Starter's threads and i'll upload them for you.
But to all: please don't PM/msg me regarding a pic or two that you just want to display and blew all your upload space on other bullshit. I'm mainly speaking about threads like starter's poppy cultivation "tek/thread" and other such long and very helpful informative threads.

Thanks Neuro! I have been away for a bit, and here's a quick update on the JFxSS. I have grown out a few seeds, and found a strong female for a mother.
first test round of clones showed roots at 5 days in a Bubble cloner and were moved to 10 gallon DWC bubblers...Mediumless with round neoprene collars only. here's some pics of roots at 15 days

I really liked the Mazapec. I haven't heard many people say anything about this one, but I thought that I might be growing cobweb mold at first cuz it colonizes so fucking fast.

No questions are stupid. It's basically a Deep Water Culture Hydroponic grow, without the use of any medium...like netpots and growrocks, or rockwool. I find that replacing or stabilizing mediums tend to get expensive and, well, it's alot of work...( I'm just a simple stoner...lol) so I figured out a way to do this without using any medium. ( Actually, I got the Idea from an Overgrow member named joecrow, I just put my own twist on it) The containers are 10 gallon sterlite plastic containers filled with water and a 1200ppm nutrient mix. Kept aerated with small air pump and a 12 inch air stone. I cut two holes in each lid, and affix a neoprene collar of my own design. like a membrane over the hole. There is an "x" cut in the neoprene, for the stem of the plant. The only reason I can see, for any medium, is simply to support the plants, but I wind up tying my plants up/down any way, so they have enough support.
