Hiya guys!

New to the community here, looking to find out the species of a few different mushrooms I've picked, and their psilocybin properties - if any! Any help would be greatly appreciated./

In total I picked 25 different mushrooms, of which i've divided into three groups, labelled A, B and C.

All of the specimens were picked in a cattle grazing field, among wet grass in close proximity to cow feces. The field is located in the West Midlands, United Kingdom.

Mushrooms in group A:

Caps are very dark brown, almost black. Not wide in diameter, shaped like an overturned bowl. Gills are completely black. Long, very thin, dark-brown to black stems, which don't support their weight.

Mushrooms in group B:
Very similar to specimens from group a the caps are dark, beige-ish brown. Bigger in diameter with a bump on the top of the cap. Gills are dark brown, and the stems are very dark and once again don't support the weight of the cap.

Mushrooms in group C:

These are noticeably different from the initial two groups and to me resemble something similar to a liberty cap They have light brown, to beige caps which are firm, smooth and almost pointy at the top. The gills are an even lighter shade of beige. The stems are still thin, but are firm enough to support the cap, and are coloured light brown.

I am still in the process of getting spore prints for each group of mushrooms, and will update the post when I get the results, but hopefully this record should be enough to give you a relatively concise description of the mushrooms - What are they? Do they have psilocybin properties?

Someone who isn't me is intending to try shrooms for the first time and wants to make sure they do it safely and correctly.

Many Thanks

They are inactive Panaeolus sp., probably P. acuminatus.

Maybe some Panaeolus acuminatus and papilionaceus

Thanks for the clarification. So non of these specimens have any hallucinogenic properties?
