Hi guys, I am new here in the forum. So I am planning to try cactus for the first time. I have previous experience in using psychedelic mushrooms and LSD but have never tried mescaline. I am pretty sure I can handle a good trip. So, I am confused as to which variety of cactus to start with. San Pedro seems to be the most commonly suggested plant but I have read in many posts that the plants bought online may not be that potent. Do you think bridgesii would be better ? I am planning to order either a plant or stem cutting from ebay.
I have recently come to Gainesville, FL. I have lived in India my whole life and have had some good trips there on LSD and mushrooms. I have been craving for psychedelics after coming here but I don't have any contacts here. So I thought I will settle for the legal plant for now. I really want it to be an awesome trip because its going to be my first mescaline experience.
Any suggestion would be helpful. Thank you !

Bridgesii is usually more potent

SanPedro (Echinopsis pachanoi) is commonly used and sold nearly everywhere, but it's potency can vary lot. This means a cutting can be ten times more potent than another cutting of the same size. This makes dosing pretty challenging, it's hit or miss. Same with E.peruviana.
"Bridgesii" (Echinopsis lageniformis) seems to be more consistent in potency. One foot should be a midsized dose, two may be too much for some.
Here's an example picture of how these closely related plants (may) look like. Left to right: Bridgesii, Pachanoi, Peruvianus

Great ! Thanks for the suggestion. I have already bought a San pedro plant from eBay. It is 12 inchs long and 1.5 inches thick. I was wondering if it is worth eating it or if I should just grow it longer. I guess I will definitely get bridgesii for my first trip.
