Agarics Bitorquis slow growth
    #23808758 - 11/07/16 07:08 AM (7 years, 2 months ago)

i injected theses jars and petri dishes about a month ago with LC from Sporeworks and the jars are still not fully colonized and the myc looks really weird to me. i've never grown this species so I'm not sure what i should expect. i do think i may have used too little LC in the jars but the Agar took forever too.

yeah I have often got slow anemic growth from that particular vendor.  I've been in other nameless sponsor's storage coolers and some of the practices are pretty appaling when you're trying to grow commercially.  selling 6 or 8 month old syringes, not testing cultures before selling them, storing tropical cultures in the fridge....

i dunno man I've had noting but good result when I've dealt with them. not one instance of bad customer service or sub-par products. i would bet the problem lies in my technique, i just cant pin point it because I've never grown these before (this is my first gourmet edible grow).
