Challenge for all shroomerites

I know this post will make it wide open for jokes but for the most part i would like to see seriousness
My son asked his aunty "why cant we see God" and i was just informed of this and it got me thinking...
Now i cant just say(until hes older..hes only 4)"well son, you need to smoke DMT and God will fly right up to your left eye"
SO a challenge is..to those who believe in God what would you say if your child asked you that?

"God is in your heart" seems to be the standard cop out response for good Christians.

DMT may give you god-like perception but it's all dreams that reveal nothing about the dreamer. I'd probably tell the kid, "For the same reason that you cannot see your own eye."

You havent smoke enough son, or while on mushrooms. You do that and you yourself can make it rain then have a godlike golden UFO split from another reality on your wall and slowly hover up to you. I went out to grab it after 2 minutes and it hovered away from my grasps. Make sense that God wouldnt let man touch him/her. Its holy..whatever that thing was.
Us schooled in DMT call it "the transcendental object at the end of time"
I knew deep down this would become a debate in some form

You could say that God was invented to explain the unexplainable.
Since we discover more and more thing god is slowly being replaced by our knowledge. You can't see God because the concept is dying.
Otherwise if you want to be optimistic you could say that God is the emergence of order out of chaos...

I'd tell them that god is something that they have to find within, and if they don't believe that's totally ok. They have their own path to walk.

I was thinking something like..
"God is what holds everything together. The reason why our bodies can heal and ladys can have babies."
Thats a sorry attempt, i know

God is that which doesn't afraid at the point of a gun.
but don't tell him that, just tell him some cop out story about God being invisible because he's a higher being, or some concept, or something.

so if I don't believe in god should I leave the thread? I personally wouldn't give my kid a concrete answer I'd tell them no one knows if there is a god or not, and maybe explain a few possibilities, with 1. maybe there is no god 2. maybe there was a god but its gone now 3. maybe 'god' is the collective consciousness of all arbitrarily defined minds, which together actually generate reality 4. maybe god is just really far away 5. maybe god is simple immaterial like pure non-local consciousness 6. maybe god is light, or energy 7. maybe god exists on a different temporal plane or dimension or something
Mostly I would say my personal 'belief' which I try to keep in check is somewhere between option 1. and option 3.

I mean gods can't die by definition. I'm willing to accept that god was a petty creator without omniscnence but I never understand when people say god is dead. Even if the being has passed, he is alive as long as we are.

nonsense, maybe by definition the Christian god can't die, but many other gods have been seen as killable or in fact dead in other religious traditions throughout history. Does only the Abrahamic god count?
