Hi
I only have 3/4 quart of wbs my other two jars contaminated.
Can somone please tell me how much coir and verm i would use to make a bulk for this. I have a mono tub made that is 2.83 gal. I am going to either follow franks or damion5050 for pasturization.
Also how much coffee ground and gypsum would I add to this.

I would not add coffee grounds. Is this your first grow? Spawn your grain to the double or triple amount of coir/verm mix. (1:2 or 1:3. 1:2 will colonize faster of course) With that low amount of grain you should use a tray and put this in a SGFC if you have one.
I recommend 1:2 in this case.

Long story short yes its my first grow. I did brf before but i screwed up a process. I decided ill just go with wbs it doesn't seem very complicated and its not.
the two things I am thinking is:
do g2g transfer and multiply this jar
or do a mini mono i really dont want to deal with shotgun perlite. so would it be possible to do a mini mono with these little grains?
also is the ideal verm to coir ratio 60 verm and 40 coir or other way around?
i already made a hybrid monotub that has shotgun style holes.

mini mono!!
good amount from 3/4 quart of wbs spawned to equal parts cvg. i honestly do 80/20ish for cvg. i have fine verm so i kinda wing it. i used 1:1 ratio for quicker colonizing as the jar was slightly bacterial.
i wouldnt g2g unless you cleaned up your spores on agar first.

uhh big spoonful of gypsum. water to field capacity?? i forgot the ratio. 1 brick of coco is 4.5ish quarts of water and that mini was like 1/4 brick or something.
im not sure. that mini was made with another mono tub so i dont know how much water was in it. you want to beable to have a small stream of water leaking out of your fist if you grab some. find a video for field capacity of coco on youtube

back up a minute. How did you prep the jars & WBS? then how did you inoculate them? and with what?
if they were all done the exact same then this jar might be suspect too, have you any photos? did the other jars fail quickly & noticeably? if it is questionable then I would be casing it directly in the jar. This way you would at least get some shrooms, and some prints or the ability to clone (presuming you might be short on spores).
