For those of you who are not familiar with my operation, I'm growing 60+ lbs/wk of oyster mushrooms for local chefs and realized i could get some added value per delivery with some greens and herbs. So with my recent move to a bigger house and .3 acre yard, I started a lawn to farm grow. I'm using Curtis Stones techniques with some personal touches. My spent mushroom blocks will be composed into the beds to help build the soil. Total garden space is currently around 600sq ft with plans to expand to around 1500 sq ft over time. Im in the process of setting up for the winter with row covers, just need to buy some more connections to make the 12.5' conduit beams. They will be getting 12' wide medium weight row cover. Here is my latest video update, more to come!

And yes that is san pedro! Ive been growing them for the last 12 years, plan to build a greenhouse for em and keep them multiplying! One hell of an easy cash crop.

Looks good, is there money to be made from oysters in Texas? Here in Denmark you need to go realy big to make a profit, and the health laws are strict.
Have you thought about doing hydro- or aquaponics?
Also, youtubelink is broken.

Try this link.
Yea the sales are good here in el paso, no local competition and a good demand by local chefs. No food regulations.

Looks good, wish more people would do something similar.
VEry interesting channel you have, subscribing.
THinking about starting to breed mealworms and crickets sometime next year. As far as i can see they can live from brewery waste and give a nice supply of homegrown protein.
Best of luck with your project.

Your title is very fitting. "always improving"
-------------------- Alice asked the Cheshire Cat, who was sitting in a tree, “What road do I take?” The cat asked, “Where do you want to go?” “I don’t know,” Alice answered. “Then,” said the cat, “it really doesn’t matter, does it?”

Nice idea, my girlfriend says she loves quail eggs
You might as well build a big red barn and buy a straw hat
