LSD - "melting" into other surfaces/sensation of 'brain fry'/etc?
    #4906313 - 11/07/05 08:26 PM (18 years, 3 months ago)

My last LSD trip was my strongest trip, and I expierenced a few things which I havnt expierenced on any of my previous LSD trips, and nothing even remotely close to my mushroom trips.

- The sensation of 'melting' into floors/walls/monitors/etc.

ie: Sitting on the floor, put my arms out onto the ground, then it started to look like my hands sunk into the floor and the wood started to take over my hands, then I had a feeling of being 'puddy' that was morphing into the floor. Then I guess vertigo kicked in, I couldn?t tell if I was up, or down, or left, or right, and had the sensation of actually BEING the floor (and also recall thinking 'thinking I'm the floor simply cant be healthy for the mind').

- Staring at pictures on my computer monitor, and being 'asorbed' into my monitor, and being thrust into a new world for a while, and coming back to my body was actually some what startling, thinking "oh shit, I've been at my desk the entire time?" While I've had closed eye 'out of body' sensations, I've never had this occur with eyes open before - it was rather amazing, and probably lead to the most enjoyable aspect of my trip. Was looking at a lous wain cat painting (Very cool pictures), and it started to unravel in increasing levels of complexity until I was no longer in my body, but absorbed into this elaborate and beautiful world.

- Laying on my bed, staring at the roof, getting the sensation that my 'brain is frying', I heard a static crunch sound, weird sensation on my head, then started to see a black tear in reality above my head, and it felt like I could feel acid splashing/frying on my brain. This freaked me out for a brief moment, but then I realized what a nonsense idea that was, and acid doesn?t 'fry' the brain, and was most likely just a body buzz ( was getting strange body sensations all night ) and nothing to worry about.

- The feeling of my consciousness being 'liquid' in my head and sloshing around, and at one point I thought I was a painting, and the painting was getting washed and spinning down a drain, and my consciousness with it

the sensation of blending/morphing into other surfaces was something rather unique/strange to me, as its as if where i ended and the hallucinations began didnt matter - it was all the same. I havnt really read of anything similar in other trip reports, and just curious if thats a common thing or what?

Either way, once I got over the 'freak out' aspect of it (did startle me quite a bit at first), but once I got over it, I came to rather enjoy it, as once I blended in, it became a rather out of body experience with alot of amazing visuals/thoughts/ideas.

Sounds like a normal strong LSD trip.  The stuff is amazing.

Melting feelings are quite odd.  When im high enough i get those, and gravity seams to want to pull me in all different directions.  I remember laying in the grass almost thinking i should hold on so i dont fall off.

The most uncomfortable thing i get from tripping almost seams to be like jolt or somthing.  Feels like my brain gets shocked for a second.  This happens more on shrooms, but also on lsd if im quite high.  I think its just a stimulation overload or somthing.  I also get some muscle tension and a mental gritty feeling that some times isnt to nice... thats usually on the come down.

Sounds awesome man. I've never had the pleasure of LSD, it seems like whenever someone claims to have it, it's always bunk. Or the person they get it from "just ran out" or someother bullshit. But I'll wait. It will be mine someday. Oh yes, it will be mine.

All the phenethylamines (2C-I, 2C-B) that I've taken all give me the impression that I am "frying" my brain. I see heat waves, I just can't explain it...it litterally feels like the heat setting for my brain has been set to "high".

I also experienced very similar physical and emotional symptoms when I took my two sugarcubes a few weeks back.

i feel you can manifest almost any physical or mental sensation when your tripping, wether your trying to or not. even those thoughts deep down can bring up some crazy sensations.

If you were taking the typical tiny little blotter that REAL lsd is made of, you were just having a pretty common lsd trip. A heavy mind-job included.

If you go over 500 mics of lsd, that stuff is pretty much guaranteed.

Sounds like the typical bad/great trip, experienced by a person who knows how to use it to their advantage. You had a "good" and intense trip I would assume.

Once you take 1500 mics of lsd you know how a bad trip works for sure, but you can use that negative stuff that you are questioning in a positive way.

You just got a nice thick dose of shock therapy, and im sure you know that in a more deep sense than I could every explain to a person who has just experienced it............

Thats a normal reaction to A thick dose of lsd.

bumped an old thread of when I was fairly new to LSD (my 3nd or 3th trip :P)

all around, that trip was a pretty damn good trip.

sounds great
magnifico
lovely
I wish everyone could enjoy this (availability, legality)- I wish everyone would enjoy this (mental acuity and health and interest in art and the mind), I wish all I ever had to do was this (instead of driving to work and slogging), and I wish there was tons of lsd for me to play with (when I slog back home).

Word, LSD is a gift. Here is my latest experience, and the most revelatory one; I put in the P & S forum, because it was one of, if not the most religous & life-changing experiences of my life. The LSD & nitrous were keys that opened me up, but the experience was of something already there, always there...so I don't really consider this to be a trip report. Much love to you all!

i find the melting into things to be pretty common, i love it. not a feeling i've ever gotten with other psychedelics (mescaline, mushrooms). the one time it probably hit me the hardest when i was at a DSO show, and i ran into a friend of mine, and when we shook hands and our hands just melted into each others. i could feel his hand and mine just become one. it was an amazing feeling. i didnt even have to ask him if he noticed too because i could just tell that he did. acid really is something else. i see more and more posts about people finding it and trying it for their first times here on the shroomery. i'm glad people who were eager to try it have been finding it recently. it puts a smile on my face.

I fell your pain =/.

"Oh they're making it; they'll have it in a month..."

"I can get acid." ...Is it really acid? "No, it's DoB"  Oh great...glad I asked...

As for melting sensations, I've only got them once, on shrooms.  I climbed up into my friends unused bed in the dorm, and I felt like I was melting into it.  When I would touch my face, it felt like my hand would go into my head.  Good stuff
