Need help identifying
    #23801098 - 11/04/16 04:20 PM (7 years, 3 months ago)

Habitat:
I found a large cluster of these growing on a old stump that was removed last year, except for the underground part

Gills: Attached to the stem and whitish grey.

Stem: long and cream and brown colors. Thick but fragile and fibery. NO blue bruising can be seen.

Cap:
Up to an inch diameter, brown or copper colored. Somewhat flat, though a few are conical.

Spore print color:
Light tan

Bruising:
None that can be seen

Other information:
Smells very earthy, friend of mine insists they are magic and wants me to eat them, but I want to be sure.

Your friend is wrong, as they will discover if they eat them.

Not magic, but you can cook them and eat them for dinner.
