A Possible Lactarius sp.?
    #23800506 - 11/04/16 12:13 PM (7 years, 2 months ago)

I walked out front again today and found this monster growing from my yard. There are so many different varieties in just one little area! Today the one I'm asking about though is this guy.

Habitat:
Growing from soil on border of lawn and moss

Gills:
Adnexed, yellowy manilla, leak white latex

Stem:
Very light browny yellow, thick, rigid, hollow, (when i squeezed it didn't flex but rather exploded after I gave it some force) 1-2 inches long, 1/2 inch diameter,

Cap:
Close to 6", yellowy-tan/manilla, smooth, concave

Spore print color:
[WIP] Will post when finished

Bruising:
None noticible

Other information:
Doesn't smell like the maple syrup that was explained to me when identifying candy caps.
BUTT it is the sweetest smelling shroomie I have ever found!
