ID help
    #23800319 - 11/04/16 10:57 AM (7 years, 2 months ago)

Just a few finds from this morning in se Ontario.  I was wondering if the first three were oysters.  Some similarities but the caps are darker than I usually find and rolled over instead of upward.  Also the other two were some new ones for me.

#1 maybe Sarcomyxa serotina
#2 is Hericium, they are a great edible if you can find them in better shape.
#3 might be Royoporus badius

The currently accepted name is panellus Serotinus (I think- sorry if I'm wrong here).

The third I think might just be some old royoporus badius

EDIT- sorry I just saw you changed your post to royoporus badius too

Very cool, there was three young hericium  starting on the same tree.  I might have to make a trip back in a day or two! Thank you for the help
