Wow!
Go see the film, psilocybin and LSD even get mentioned in it after he goes into a major psychedelic spin. FX are mind blowing, and it's funny.

Looks interesting, I don't really read comics much at all but Dr. Strange sounds pretty damn strong though. I think I'll wait another week and see what other reviews come out. Only because the last couple superhero movies I've seen let me down cuz I got my hopes up too high. Mainly excited for Dr. Strange because it's another step closer to bringin the whole thing together for Infinity Wars..oh and I have a feeling there's going to be an after credit scene for Ragnarok also.

Something about band wagoners, right? How will this play a role in the WoD? Marvel always trying to appeal to some demographic for increased sales or what have you..

Saw it last night. Very psychedelic. Most definitely some DMT experience within the SFX crew.

the movie in 3d was amazing with some lysergic inside. I thought the design to be salvia inspired.

There were two credit scenes, missed both of them, but I know one had Thor wanting his father back or something. Which brings me to my point, the superhero thing doesn't flick any switches for me. What drew me to this movie was the beautiful psychedelia of it all. There's one scene where the master touches his forehead and he's off into different worlds/dimensions etc. THAT WAS SO F***KING COOL !
Vibes to those who saw it dosed up, can't imagine what that would be like, but seriously go see it, don't wait for reviews. You won't be disappointed!

And something that rang my bell, is that he said "psilocybin"
While a common word here in the shroomery, I do not think that "psilocybin" is that well known, as it is just "shrooms" and/or its many street names.
This proves that they are raising awareness on psychedelics.

Exactly what I thought when he said it, and the comparison with what happened to him, and him thinking it was psilo (as a neurosurgeon) struck me as well. He can't have known that much though if he thought the effect only lasts a few minutes

Yup, and psilo (at least for me) is not that crazy, lol haha.
I am yet to man up and try my 10x salvia to tell for sure, but for what I have read, this reminds me of a salvia trip, but still, quite impressive detail in the movie and Dr Strange's reaction and knowledge.

Marvel and psychedelics have a history together. Dr. Strange is mentioned on Pink Floyd's Saucerfull of Secrets and Dr. Strange is pictured on album cover, at far right.
Two of Marvel's artists were notorious for LSD inspiration and that's great to hear that they are still spreading awareness. Plan to eat couple gram's of shrooms and going to see this film.

I'm a floyd fan (early period) and I didn't know that, thanks for the info
I watched a youtube vid of Dr Strange info last night, apparently in the comics he ends up in Alice's wonderland. Definitely psychedelically influenced.

Totally agree, as is the scene with Stan Lee cameo, where he's reading Aldous Huxleys "Doors of Perception" which I forgot to mention.

He's right. I agree. Even the theme of Dr. Strange and these so called wisdom of that bald woman are things I've come to agree with through the use of psychedelics. To me the theme seemed Jurema root bark flavored to me personally.
