Possible Panaeolus Sub?
    #23799306 - 11/03/16 10:22 PM (7 years, 2 months ago)

I found these mushrooms in some wet grass in an area that horses frequent. They were not on manure but manure was nearby. The spore prints looks pretty dark, either black or very dark brown. They had whitish blue bases when picked, but I assumed this was mycelium. The younger ones have brown gills while the older are black. However this could be due to one bing P sub and the other being P foenisecii  Here are some pictures, let me know what else would help, new to this forum . Forgot to mention I'm in Northern California about 50 miles north of SF
