First lions mane
    #23799093 - 11/03/16 09:02 PM (7 years, 2 months ago)

Finally have my first lions mane. These seem to be very difficult for me anyone with advice? They seem to have a mind their own. Not growing on agar , pinning on agar, just slow growth. I really want to get these down.
My oysters harvested tonight too , getting some nice pin sets.

That's lion's mane is super healthy looking!
I (and lion's mane) prefer lc over agar to grain.

Thanks Azur , I failed with LC once. I will give it another try. I want to have 6 or so bags fruiting all the time.

It would be interesting to see how different your culture performs in LC, also have you tried different agar recipes for it?
By the way quad, great looking mushrooms:thumbup:

Those oysters should have been picked about 12-24 hours earlier. Nice size!
