First pick of homegrown Cubensis B+

Just wanted to post some pictures of my first ever pick of home grown cubensis. Some B+ here I grew. More pins are coming up and I have 8 other jars colonizing. Pretty exciting! How do the mushrooms themselves look? I think they look a little small compared to pictures i've seen. But it probably had to do with me having to crumble the cake to physically get it out of the jar in order to fruit it. Next try around i'm going to try casing for better results, but I wanted to make sure I can at least get the mycelium to produce some kind of fruiting body.

here is my spawning chamber, somer more pins growing after i harvested earlier today, i know it looks like shit but its my very first try, next time i will try casing. (At least its producing right?)

These are what my 8 jars look like, a week or two old.

Here is the biggest one i picked, still think they are undersized but i dont know.

Left is sour D, right is unknown, smaller ones are white widow.
cheers

Thanks very much! I sure hope so, only got a total of 4 mature ones so far but more pins growing. To me growing both mush and weed are an experiment no matter how many books you read, its all about first had experience and figuring out what works.

Its wild bird seed.
Seed cooked on low and rinsed for a while, put in quart jars PC'd @ 15 psi for at least an hour. Originally used a spore syringe, 2nd time around i broke up 1 colonized jar into 7 others, and it worked great to propagate mycelium. Propagating them in a tub and heating it using a fish tank heater in a small tub of water. Temps remain around a stable 80-85 degrees.
Fruiting in a tub of wet perlite with a CFL bulb. Temp is stable around 70 degrees and 100% humidity.

Not the most graceful execution but not a bad result.

XD haha looks like a haphazard pile of substrate colonized by mycelium, or just a broken up jar.. Pretty funny stuff, it's bruised because it got dry af at some point, also reinforced by pins coming up from the bottom
