Numnum's Cheap Shroom Chocolates
    #23798161 - 11/03/16 03:55 PM (7 years, 2 months ago)

Hello. This is how I make my chocolates. It's different than other recipes I've found because you make each chocolate/shroom combo individually thus you know the exact dose in each piece instead of pouring it all into a bowl and not really knowing. Also, not much is needed and they are pretty quick and hassle free to make. I also wanted to do this write-up (it being my first) to possibly give back to a community that has supplied me with so much knowledge. Let's begin...

Ingredients/Tools
Chocolate disks (~$2)
Chocolate Tray (~3)
Coffee Grinder/ Magic Bullet/ Blender
Scale
Tin foil

So, start by weighing the mushrooms. My tray has 10 slots so I did 5g, 0.5g per chocolate. I actually used around 5.1g due to the fact I knew I would lose a bit in the dust from the grinding process.

Grind the mushrooms and put them into a bowl or cup to assist in measuring out the dosage. I just weighed the cup with the mushrooms in it a picked up 0.5g at a time with a spoon. Put each dose on its own separate piece of tin foil.

Fill each spot in the tray with chocolate disks, I used 5 for the square holes and 4 for the circular ones.

Put the tray in the microwave for 3 minutes.
When the microwave is finished, pull the tray out and using a butter knife with PAM sprayed on the tip stir *1 at a time* 1 dose from the tin foil into 1 chocolate spot. Also make sure to get the knife all the way down into the corners to get the powder that got put in the corners. (I found that if I pre-dump the powder onto each hole it causes the chocolates to clump up and cool faster than I can stir them.)

After stirring each one well, put the tray in the freezer for 10-15 minutes. After that, pull the tray out and push the chocolates out of the top by flipping the tray upside down and pushing them out.

Then wrap in tin foil or enjoy on the spot!
