4 quarts should average the average joe an ounce, ounce and a half, yeah? You almost tripled that.
Average joe you are not.

Just thought I'd update. 2nd flushes were nice. Not a great Pinset (just like the 1st flush) but crops were big, meaty, and beautiful. Trying this out on pe and ape soon. So far, for standard cubes this will be my way to go.

I'm having a hard time interpreting what you're doing.
Basically you're just sterilizing the shit (ala pressure cooking it) instead of risky pasturizing it?

Without me having a proper thermometer for me to measure temps it is. I actually have a great candy thermometer, digital, just need to get a new watch battery for it.
Anyway, can I PC quart jars of shit, mix with spawn, same same?

I've seen people LC hpoo and wbs blend they PC'ed with great success. That would most certainly take out the need for a flowhood.

I'm confused as to why I'd need a flowhood....
PC shit, mix with coir/verm, add my spawn.
What am I missing? Does the sterile shit contam when open air hits it or something?

Why? This doesn't make any sense to me. I guess I've never seen any info on "sterilizing" poo before. I'm not arguing or denying the fact of the matter, I'm simply trying to soak up every bit of information I can.
Had I not asked, I'd be trying this thinking it was no different than sterilizing my coir/verm and spawning open air etc.
Thanks for any more info.

Coir does not germinate spores so it can be done in open air...manure is a mold magnet so we pasturize to use in open air so benificial bacteria can help us out.

... shit has waaayyy more nutes for everything to thrive in so if it gets sterilized all the good bacteria is killed off along with thd bad so its open season for mold and since mold spores colonize way faster then mycelium ... thats why a higher spawn ratio is beneficial

Actually coir has just as much nutriton as manure it just won't germinated spores
