Went out hunting and found nothing humidity conditions are low, found dung with big growth of mycelium in them, can I take home and fruit myself in the right humidity conditions just curious., also assuming they are active mycelium...?

Sure you can fruit it under high humidity. Most likely case is that the heap of dung contains multitudes of fungal organisms. Some may be active, some might not, the only way to be sure is to fruit and identify. Good luck. Check these texts for some ideas. Get the full text from sci-hub.

That's kinda how mushroom cultivation started.
Pretty sure they used dung with fruits growing on them, ground up, then spawned to something that I can't remember.. maybe more dung.

But if you're not sure of what mycelium it is, it's probably not worth it.

Put in spray bottle that i previously clean with antibacterial soap then put the patties in the container that I microwave the water and sprayed them set them outside and going to see what happens can't hurt, thanks for the input
