Michigan makes the best hotdogs, (koegels). I guess the quality of meat they use is superior to the rest. And flint style coney's is where it's at. It's like the Detroit but the chili is dry.

Fuckin' love hotdogs lol

Hell yeah that's what's up. I was back in The Motor City about a month ago. Stopped by Lafayette Coney Island (right next door to American), I know it's famous and shit (lots of celebs from Eminem to Kid Rock to politicians to even fucking Miley Cyrus been there), and yeah I guess their coneys were solid, but the staff working there were fucking worthless scum. Assholes of the highest order, man. Like these fuckers damn near would throw the plates and silverware at you on the table and just overall looked angry that they even had to serve you. The fuck, man.
I'll never go to Lafayette again after that experience.

Only do sausage, no hotdogs

Just the sausage and a non-white bread bun, no toppings to distract from the sausage Favorite sausages are usually Cajun or S.American, but there's good sausage from Germany / Poland / Italy

ketchup, chili, and slaw. Put it on one of the split top rolls with bread exposed on the side, instead of crust. Butter that baby up, and lightly toast. Also, and MOST IMPORTANTLY, the dogs gotta be cooked on a stick, over the campfire! A charcoal grill will do, in a pinch, if you insist. Dankest hotdog ever.

Nitrates.
He should test this by seeing if he gets headaches from eating prosciutto or bacon and other cured meats. If he does, it's from the nitrates.

I thought nitrates too, but I could use the same brand and cook it differently and it doesn't do the same. I eat a hell of a lot of bacon too. I was thinking boiling them just doesn't break nitrates down like heating over a flame does, or if it just reacts badly with water. No idea, doesn't matter though cuz boiled hot dogs suck anyway

You could be onto something.
Do you drink adequate enough amounts of water when you eat hot dogs? Because hot dogs make you really really thirsty, so if you're dehydrated you'll get a headache. I frequently wake up throughout the night to drink water if I had hot dogs at night.

In cities like NYC and LA there's food stands that wrap bacon around their hot dogs and actually grill them over a flame. Those are always really good. All meats are better grilled over flame or charcoal.

Try cutting a hotdog in half and put it on a buttermilk biscuit with egg and cheese. It's like a fat bologana biscuit.
I love hotdogs and bologana since I was a kid so I've done all sorts of shit with them. Put it in a taco and then pile up your beef and usual toppings. Alternatively put taco meat on a hotdog in a bun.
Also make a bbq hotdog pizza. Still working on mastering the french fry crust.

Nah I mean creamy yellow cheese. Cheddar cheese with chemical shit in it to keep it solidifying all the way. It's the kind of cheese that comes on your ordinary chili cheese dogs. You can also use queso.
But your idea is very intriguing I bet jalapeno dogs with a big of cream cheese is good.

Basically. But I didn't want to say cheese wiz because we never used the aerosol can shit. Always the jar variety. Dunno if it's much better health wise but it tastes better.

You can make real cheese sauce with cheddar or whatever actual cheese you want pretty easily. Melt a tablespoon of butter in a pan, slowly mix in 1-2 tablespoons of flour and cook a bit while stirring until it's all together into a roux, slowly add in some milk, and then add the cheese and stir until it's all melted into creamy sauce. You can chop up peppers and put it in there or whatever you want.

I would have just opted for milk + butter, but I guess flour or starch would be a good idea.
Sounds a lot more exciting than the dinner I'm putting together

My grandmother got headaches from hotdogs and lunchmeats. It turned out to be the nitrates. Some people are sensitive to them while most of us are not. Do you get headaches from lunchmeats too? If so I bet you're sensitive to nitrates. The solution is to not eat them anymore, they're not good for you anyway.

Apparently the National Headache Foundation (WTF I didn't even know that was a thing) confirms that nitrates cause vascular headaches
Quote:
Vasodilation of the blood vessels may be caused by consumption of, or exposure to, nitrates and nitrites, which may trigger a vascular headache. Nitrates are found in some medications for heart problems and in some chemicals used in the food and beverage industry.

And by fajitas I mean fajita. That thing was a fucking monster.
I had guac I needed to use. Turned out pretty good, just season it like you would chicken or beef. Only major difference is the hotdoggy texture.
Yes I am really white trash.

No, smoothies are actually healthy, there is nothing healthy about boba. It's all sugar and artificial flavoring, stuff pretentious foodie snob hipsters don't like.
A boba shop is a place that serves Taiwanese boba teas and blended drinks. The "boba" is the name for the chewy tapioca pearls that are at the bottom of the drink.

Hot dogs are ligher on the stomach. I can eat like 3 turkey dogs and be good, I can eat 1 turkey sausage and have indigestion all night.
It was the same when I ate pork. Maybe the spices they use? I'd figure it'd be because hot dogs have more filler but I get pretty good shit these days and it's definitely more meat than those 8 packs of red dogs you used to buy for a dollar 50.

"Fucking libtards", they thought, as they choked on their carrot soaked in soy poop. "I wish I had the balls of my southern brethren" they thought, as they choked on a chili and slaw free anomaly. Dear Lord Jesus, please forgive me from my liberally tinged sins, they prayed in a drunken stupor, before taking the toke of gods cannabis that saved their souls. From that day on, they dined on dope-ass dogs bathed in ketchup, chili, and slaw, and their souls (due to their submission to the all forgiving Jesus Christ), we're forgiven. Thanks to their use of God's herb, Cannanis.

I am eating satokun Japanese sausages right now...
This is one of my favorite sausages, I like it because it's not too heavy and greasy like most sausages sold at the supermarket.
Just a couple of these wieners, with some Japanese pickles, over rice... a most simple meal, but will do the trick.
These are great sausages to put in bread too
