Who should I vote for, and why?

I got my ballot in the mail today; and I don't know who to vote for.
Clinton is a crook. Trump is insane. Third party is a wasted vote.
This whole thing stinks to high heaven and there are deplorables in baskets everywhere, I don't know what to do. So I am doing what every other undecided millennial voter is doing and letting the internet determine my vote.
I'm pretty anti-trump but still agree with a lot of what he says, regardless of the format he says it.
That being said I am fully aware Clinton is a lying sack of shit who is crooked as they get, but hey that's american politics.
Convince me shroomery, here stands before you an undecided voter- who is eager to hear what everyone has to say.

I was a hardcore Bernie supporter turned reluctant Clinton supporter after exhaustive research of my third party options. Originally I was going with Gary Johnson with the long term hope that 5% of the popular vote for a third party would mean federal funding and more options for the future. Now, I don't know if I'm just swayed by the media or whatever, but seeing Trump as such a likely candidate is pressing me to vote for someone I absolutely would not under any other(forseeable) circumstances, which is Hillary Clinton. Especially considering I am in a swing(PA) state and a woman. Which, like it or not, is a very important demographic(http://abc27.com/2016/10/11/pennsylvanias-suburban-middle-aged-women-could-decide-election/)(granted, I am urban based and a young woman, and this article specifically points out my middle aged suburban counterparts, I'm not going to throw away my vote as a lady in a swing state). They've actually had skywriters and planes urging women to vote for Trump on the daily here.
My parents, who swing red because they are in the tax bracket that suffers the failures of our governments the most are both decidedly voting Clinton, albeit reluctantly like myself.
I can't tell you how to vote, all I know is that the Clinton administration will basically be an extension on the current. I am far more willing to vote for that(fuck I'd be far more willing to vote for 4 more years of Obama as would most people I know) than I am the trainwreck that is Trump. The guy will get impeached in under a year and we'll be left with a vice president who doesn't believe in evolution. Honestly I want to hear more of why I should vote for Trump, because ALL I've racked up as someone that is for 'none of the above' is that I absolutely want nothing to do with this man as president.

I would also like to take this moment to recommend the HBO show 'VEEP' to each and every one of you. Truly a gem that is probably the most accurate depiction of US politics on the air currently depending on your mood(in which case House of Cards might be the go to if it's less satirical)

I voted for Johnson. I know he won't win, I'm just hoping he gets more than 5% and things start to change eventually. My vote isn't a waste because I voted 3rd party. It is a vote for the future.

Trump is bad with choosing his words at times, but at least he's not encouraging people to incite violence at Hillary's events, or wanting to go to war with Russia because "they stole those hacked emails!" or..well I've done this before, there's too much dirt on her that I don't even have the patience to bring it all up anymore.
At least with Trump it could be a fresh start, some of you guys are assuming Trump will be awful because some shit he has said but fail to pay attention to what Hillary has actually done. It's really weird, honestly.

The person who you personally think will be the best for the job regardless of any other factors.
Don't just let others tell you how to vote. Vote for the person who you honestly think is the best. That's the only way that elections work.

I think you should vote for Hillary because Trumps policies and plans to "Make America Great Again" are poorly thought out and would not do well in the real world.
On paper, they sound somewhat LogicaL, but in reality, they are too simplistic.

That's the problem though, Hillary is pretty decent at making people believe she really isn't a nasty witch, so some people think she'd be a better representation of America. But if you're worried about WW3, then she would be the one to make it happen, not Trump.

The way I look at it is one person is evil and admits it and the other is evil but will not show it to our allies or enemies. If you think Trump has any qualms about starting wars I think that's naïve. He literally said "I will be more willing to use nuclear retaliation in the middle east than any other president in US history" " I want them to think we may use nukes". Bombs start wars but Nukes are the only things that can cause world war and mutually assured destruction . You're entitled to your opinion thoughQuote:

It's been a major problem, anything sex related and I cum my pants so I'm still a virgin at 32 almost 33 years old. I stopped being depressed about it years ago and now I just enjoy orgasms at strip clubs all the time.

I would argue Trump is more for a WW3 than Hillary. He seems like the hardcore type that makes moves first than asks questions later.

It actually did create the Cold War(no nukes no Cold War) but while it's true the arms race during the Cold War was to prevent either side from using nuclear power,it's not quite the same anymore. Russia doesn't have fleets of nuclear subs with ICBMs anymore. Since the dissolving of the USSR after the fall of the Berlin Wall ,Russia was in a freefall and sold whatever nukes or really any expensive weapons and defenses to whoever they could. And that theory is solid as long as both sides have roughly the same amount of nukes for mutually assured destruction. I'd argue that Russia is still hanging by a proverbial string trying to maintain power in Europe and loosing control fast. And teaming up with Putin doesn't seem like a good idea right now or really ever. Work with them yes, team up with them no.That sounds like a true invasion that'd make president bush look like a pussy.
Although I gotta give you some credit you actually had a follow up to my argument. It was refreshing.

Trump is going on trial for racketeering and fraud on November 20th, and his next court date for child rape is in December.

I'm undecided now waiting to hear an update from FBI, DOJ on Clinton's investigation. Because I know whatever Comey says, that there will be some early voters who wish to change their vote which is not possible here. I will not be like them... It is crazy to me to vote for Clinton before we know if she'll face indictment, impeachment proceedings. But most Clinton supporters IME have tuned out already, are not even following the news and thus would scoff at the idea of it.

These are civil lawsuits, not criminal charges, both of which have been thrown out of court previously for being frivolous.
If trump is such a criminal, why isn't the FBI investigating him like they are with Hillary?

Do you know how many fines trump has paid to the IRS? Dozens. Trump was even fined during this campaign by the FEC for violating campaign finance laws. The guy spends half his time in court. He's a legal disaster.
Keep ignoring the fact that he's going on trial for FRAUD! It was not thrown out. The trial begins in three weeks.
The child rape case has not been thrown out. It went before a judge last week and trumps lawyers were ordered to prepare for depositions.

No, he's going to court because of civil lawsuits.
You do realize any person can sue another person without merit?
Is he facing criminal charges for FRAUD?

The little lying whore literally canceled the press conferenc yesterday. If you can't see that the allegations are fake, you're an idiot.
I was over my friends apartment last night. I was the only trump supporter there. A few poli-sci majors who claimed they were registered republicans and voting for Hillary were there. Then there were four or five people who had no clue who to vote for. By the end of the night, I had convinced two of the undecideds to vote for trump, one of them and one of the Hillary supporters to vote for Stein and the other undecided and other Hillary supporter to vote for Johnson. There was one staunch Hillary supporter who kept crying, "BUT HES A CHILD RAPIST." Yeah, that guy lost a lot of credibility in the eyes of all of his friends. He was a friend of a friend, so I didn't personally want to call him an idiot but his friends eventually started saying, "bro, there's literally not enough money you could pay me in the world to believe that donald trump raped a child, or anyone for that matter, you're so gullible."
So basically I uncucked the dudes friends and made everyone think he was an dumbass. Times are a changin folks.

I know, it's truly weird. I'm advocating for what should be objectively moral to anyone regardless of religious affiliations. Murdering babies is wrong and all anyone can do is justify why they think it's okay to engage in such immorality and list the reasons for making an exception to morality...since the argument against it's inherent immorality is non-existent.
Also it's funny to note that libtards are perfectly fine with Muslims expressing their "religious interpretations", which include but are not limited to, beheading disobedient wives and throwing gays off rooftops.

Murdering babies is wrong and all anyone can do is justify why they think it's okay to do engage in such immorality, since the argument for against it's inherent immorality is non-existent.
Also it's funny to note that libtards are perfectly fine with Muslims expressing their "religious interpretations", which include but are not limited to, beheading disobedient wives and throwing gays off rooftops.
Objectively moral? Your morals have been corrupted by your religion. And Muslims are just as abhorrent as Christians when they impose their magical thinking upon a secular society like you want to do.

Min wage increases would not increase unemployment, this has been demonstrated practically on the state level, and historically on a national level when minimum wage was introduced (as the Great Depression came to an end).
You're free to your weird religious interpretation of abortion, keep your nose out of other people's business
The ACA needs to be reformed, its shite as is. A perfect example of what happens when a country is split up by partisan immaturity, since there's no agreement on how to run things we'll just keep a system no one likes.
"Min wage increases would not increase unemployment"
You don't know that, it depends on how much higher you hike it.
My county has raised the minimum wage to $10.75 and the unemployment rate is 3.3%. We should raise it higher since 3.3% actually represents a labor shortage.
Fairfax county, which borders my county has a minimum wage of 7.25 and it's unemployment rate is 3.6.

Well the details can be panned out, Trump suggested $10, Hillary $12, then there's the $15 camp. Either $10-12 would be reasonable, I think it would be reasonable to raise it to $11 and see what happens.

There's no such thing as "Christian Sharia". You're just sensationalizing Christian ethics to fit your lib-brained narrative.
Which would you rather live under if you had to choose? A Free Republic that won't let you kill babies and holds the opinion that sodomy is gross, but otherwise affords you a free existence? Or an oppressive Islamic Regime that will literally kill you for being gay, and has laws that afford murderers the state-sanctioned permission to do it?
It's not even close. You'd have to be a brainwashed libtard to think these two modes of existence are one in the same.

Power is gradually being wrested away from the christian zealotry, the rise of secularism is what steered western law away from burning witches and homosexuals. Otherwise there's no difference between christian law and islamic law, they both get away with as much oppression as they're allowed.

He didn't say she was but I do agree with this. Socially he wants bring America back to when you could make fun of mentally handicapped people, he wants to overturn Roe v Wade without including the Supreme Court or the majority of Americans views . To overturn landmark social Supreme Court Cases to me is tyrannical , why not just overturn Plessy v Ferguson and re- segregate buses and water fountains. We will just have to add two more fountains for Muslims and Mexicans.Quote:

Whatever. Someone asked if far-right and far-left met, and I answered.
"Traditional values" go back to blood and soil concepts of local environmentalism. Local culture. It can be seen as anti-modernism and anti-technology...same as far-left anarchism. (Check out 'Wrath of Gnon' for an idea of where modern conservatism is going) Maybe the term 'traditional values' leaves a bad taste in your mouth? If so, think: Democracy, Creativity, Tolerance, Education. Etc.
These are the 'traditional' values of Western culture.

Every major culture on Earth is 'a sweeping generalization of a variety of cultures', seems to me. Western culture even more so, as I said, because we represent the values of tolerance, multiculturalism and etc. Doesn't mean the culture doesn't exist or the concept of that culture isn't useful.

Those values are far from universal in the West, which was the point. Especially if we're talking in past tense (traditions)

Values don't need to be universal in order to be dominant or noteworthy.

You don't know that, it depends on how much higher you hike it.
Well the details can be panned out, Trump suggested $10, Hillary $12, then there's the $15 camp. Either $10-12 would be reasonable, I think it would be reasonable to raise it to $11 and see what happens.
Yeah, I don't have any issue with that, but there's certain parts of the country that would have a hard time adapting to that mandate.

I understand cost of living and wages vary from region to region, but one of the ways to prevent huge economic disparity in the country is to have a federal, nationwide standard.

Vote Vermin Supreme!
Free Ponies for all! (though you will be required to have your pony with you at all times because its a federal pony identification program)
Compulsory tooth brushing
Zombie Hamster-Wheel technology to power our clean energy grid.
Time Travel! The bulk of military funding would be put into time travel research so we can simply go back in time to murder our enemies (like Hitler, for instance) while they are still unborn fetuses.
Vermin Supreme is a friendly fascist who knows what's best for YOU, and that's why YOU should let HIM decide how to run your life.

Voted and sent off my ballot today. Took a few hours for me to fill it out.
President:
Rocky De La Fuente - American Delta
^Came up on the isidewith.com poll thing, though that's not really what swayed me. There were 22 presidential candidates on my ballot and I looked up a majority of them. Dude was indeed most in line with my views in general. Kind of an off vote that won't affect the election, but perhaps you'll see more ideas like that years down the road. Had one of the major third party candidates been better I might have voted for one of them, but I've been pretty disillusioned with this election on the presidential side of things.
US Senate:
Dan Chapin - Unaffiliated
REP to 115th US Congress:
Nicholas Morse - Republican
----------------------------
Not getting too into lower offices, but I don't vote down the ballot on anything. No need to fire competent people over party affiliation alone.
Retained most judges, voted to drop two.
Yes on right to doctor assisted euthanasia.
Yes on raising the minimum wage to 12 over the next 4 years, and adjusting for inflation after.
Yes on raising cigarette tax.
Yes on Amendment 69 in Colorado, though this was probably the hardest decision on the ballot for me. May regret that choice later, but it may work really well as well.

Yeah I vote Green for similar reasons. I don't even really pay close attention to what they're doing I just know they're kind of in line with my views. Some people would say I am throwing my vote away, but unlike most people I actually vote for who I want to win, and plus I'd say in my state voting Democrat is throwing your vote away. It's no like they won't win my state anyway.
