I agree with Thayendanegea about finding better secluded areas where you can pick mushrooms later without being disturbed. But OK, here's a stealthy setup for you:

Have a big container in your backpack with a drilled hole in the bottom and a thin hose attached. This run down your pants and out beside your shoe. Everywhere you walk, slurry will spread. :wink: Pinch the hose with your fingers while walking between the wood chip beds. This is better than spreading fine mist and having that equipment clog up (it happens in a few minutes if you don't have extra filters).

In the more secluded places, milk jugs with drilled holes in the lid is excellent and work very well.

Put six of these in an empty six pack holder and put it in your backpack.  Quick and heavy dispersal, and it doesn't take much to start a patch.  That big sprayer will just draw questions.  At least with the ketchup bottles you can feign crazy and cheese it.

just spray where people won't see you. spraying in public is just hooking up the pin rapers anyways.
