* I've finally found active woodlovers * - Big update 3

2015 was about getting familiar with shrooms in general, and picking my first libs(about 3.5g). The plans for 2016 were to master the art of lib hunting(currently I've picked around ~50g dry) and also research about active woodlovers in my country. In spring I've started looking for the right habitat to to assess in fall. I've watched every video and picture of actives I found in order to get an idea of what I'm looking for. Members here were also very kind and sent me useful info & pics. I'm thankful and proud that mushroom gurus have also engaged in my research.
Lately I was in a conflicting situation having to choose between going for libs(and having the guarantee to find enough for min. 3 trips/hunt), or going into the woods for the woodlovers, and most likely(?) returning empty-handed. Since I have plenty of dried libs in my stash, I though today it's time for the serbicas. This is basically the second hunt for them but I feel like I knew exactly where to look...and maybe was a bit lucky too
First three specimens I found:

And right next to them:

And about 10m away:

A pin. Battery was dying, was unable to focus corectly:

Spore printing and set for drying:

Thanks Piggy Does anyone have any info regarding their potency ?
I've found these two: 1 & 2 but as you can see they don't quite get along.

At least the second one is complete bs, Psilocybe cyanescens less potent than cubensis? They must be kidding. Flawed analyses or old (or some randomly weak batch of) mushrooms would be my guess. To the lucky OP, I recommend a series of bioassays at increasing dosages to assess their potency. Nice find!

I wonder what these are. They do not look like Psilocybe cyanescens to me and I wasn't aware that any other wood-loving Psilocybes were to be found in Europe.

Maybe, I've had cyan potency wildly fluctuate. Uh... from field study. Would have taken notes, but failed science by getting naked and swimming under a waterfall. I will say 2 grams dried of a certain cyan patch last year left me higher than I've ever been. Definite lvl 4-5.

Beautiful Psilocybe serbica finds! I have a spore print I really want to put to good use soon. Have you researched propagating these with the stem butts and any attached mycelia?

Yep these are Ps. serbica/bohemica. There are quite some reports of findings across Europe(Poland,Germany,Hungaria,Czech Republic, Serbia and others). As far as I know Ps. medullosa is another woodlover that grows in Europe.
I'll definitely look into stem butt tek. Does this imply destroying(to a degree) the original patches ?

Amazing finds - not to derail the thread but is anyone aware of European mushroom hunting forums they could send me links to?
I'm curious if there's non English or more specific forums that would have posts of woodlovers from these countries

I remember seeing a forum that was in another language but I didn't save it. Just curious if theres any places where more of these woodlovers are being posted/discussed rather than here?

Seems to me like scientific measuring of tryptamine levels in mushrooms isn't done too often. Probably not too high on the priority list amoung mycologists or testing labs.
I'd therefore take such diagrams with a pinch of salt. You should just start with an amount that you feel comfortable with, gauge, and ajust your next dose accordingly.
Congratulations on your really cool find, too!

Thanks guys
I've googled a bit the stem butt tek, and as far as I understand it involves colonizing some cardboard at the beginning. But due to my living conditions I'm unable to do any growing at home(indoors). Spreading the stem butts in the right habitat could result in some success, if I'm very lucky, right ? I also plan to spray spores in the right habitat.

I found a nice path with bigger specimens in another forest, 40km away from the first spot. Unfortunately I was on a hike with my parents and wasn't able to shoot pics. However I've managed to sneak some in my pocket. I'll return in a week, hopefully the cold doesn't destroy them. It was again a mixed forest, at about 800m.

Those are very pretty. You should do your printing on foil it works better.

I managed to go back to the forest today. I had half an hour time to get to path and pick, this time alone. Upon closer inspection I found out that the path is actually huge, stretching along a forest path for about 50m. The time was too short to pick everything there and also take pics. I picked as many as I could in 25min, but also left a ton. Pins were also visible, but we're expecting negative temps (~-5°C) so this might be the end.
Here some pics I took in haste:

Some closer looks:

I filled my box(which fits about 12g dry libs) in 15 min so I had to use my hat further:

I might be able to shoot pics of what I've collected later today.

The 25 minutes of non stop picking resulted in this:

These are 3 different sheets.
