I tried smoking hydrangea leaves and didn't get any high off them.
Then I think I found on google that they were highly carcinogenic.
Weed is plenty easy to get in green states so I've never tried it again.

I had no idea plutonium was made naturally in the presence of natural uranium, but now that you say it, it makes total sense.

Asante said: Nope! The plutonium we use is man made but plutonium is actually a trace constituent of natural uranium.
Sometimes a U235 goes pop throwing neutrons around, a depleted uranium nucleus catches a neutron and turns into Plutonium:
U238 + n --> Pu239
The same way we make it, except out of human hands.
yea... that happens so rarely and the traces are so small its irrelevant. Were talking invisible to the eye traces.
The only way to get any real amount of plutonium is synthesis.

All-natural plutonium doesn't give you cancer though. Pesticide free too.

Uranium has to gain two protons before becoming plutonium. No matter how many neutrons are in it. That's the definition of atomic number, how many proton are inside. Every element on the periodic table has a different number of protons than in other one.

The isotope Pu-239 was produced on March 28, 1941 by bombarding a U-238 target with neutrons to produce U-239 (half-life of 23.5 minutes). This radionuclide decayed by beta emission to Np-239 (half-life of 2.12 days), which subsequently decayed by beta emission to Pu-239 (which has a very long half-life of 24,600 years).
Plutonium is produced in nature through the reasonably well-understood process discussed above. Uranium is a naturally occurring element that is ubiquitous in the Earth's crust. The isotopes of uranium decay primarily by alpha-particle emission, but there is also a process called "spontaneous fission" that occasionally competes with alpha decay.
In spontaneous fission, the nucleus splits ("fissions") and additional neutrons are released. There is a possibility that these released neutrons are absorbed (captured) by another U-238 nucleus. If this occurs, it triggers a process that produces Pu-239 in a manner similar to that discussed above. Thus, we have plutonium produced naturally in the environment (admittedly in trace quantities). This reaction has been going on since the creation of the Earth.

Doesn't sound too good But interesting read
And beautiful flowers
Fun fact: if you Swallow apple seeds and can't throw them up, smoke a cigarette. It will kill the toxins almost immediately.(e cigs will not work)

One can make the colors change on them (Hydrangeas) by controlling the acidity of the soil.
They put the HIGH in Hydrangea!

just because digitalis (foxglove) derivatives have medical uses for heart conditions, doesn't mean one should go ingesting them in any form
seems to be the case here with hydrangea.
