All of the spots that looks sort of green in these pics I swear were a lot brighter green when I first picked them in the sunlight

Gymnopilus luteofolius group, the large ones are likely the same species.

I'm going to go back and get the big ones also. I'm thinking about trying these. I'm not looking to party, although I'm pretty sure I'm going to enjoy it I haven't taken a mushroom in 15 years at least. I've been reading more n more about the depression, anxiety and PTSD. So I'm thinking about trying them again. That is if any of you guys (trusted identifiers) are comfortable enough to tell me that these are safe to consume.

Gymnopilus are very weakly active, I think the minimum dose is around 50 grams wet or 5 grams dry (maybe it's 3 times that much- 150g wet and 15g dry I can't remember). They also taste awful. The consensus is that these are active Gymnopilus.

Would heat matter? I know they taste like crap but would it matter if I tried to hide them in some food to help?

I'm not even sure if its intensity I'm looking for. Besides an intense experience every once in awhile,I've actually thought about microdosing in replace of depression and anxiety medication. I'm currently not taking medication at all because I don't like the medication they prescribed

You could just chop them up and make a tea out of the amount you're wanting to dose. Let them steep and don't get the water anywhere near boiling. Id steep them for 30-45mins. They are a weaker species in terms of psilocybin content but if you get the dose right they are a beautiful experience.
I personally enjoy them more than cubensis. As one of the other posters said it will likely take a decent amount to get where you want to be.

That sounds like a good idea what some honey maybe. I've wondered about this before, after you make the tea is the mushroom itself useless afterwards?

The fine bits of chopped matter are easy to consume, but most of what you want should be infused with the tea. So you can strain the matter and toss it if you wish.

didn't someone post a recipe (or just about) a hot-and-sour gym soup recently? that actually sounds good but the one time i tried them i did the toss-n-wash method. sort of ugh but did the trick.
