[EDIT] Here is the proper format sorry for the wait. Also I know paper bowls arn't the best spore print material, but it was what I had on hand at the time. Specimen #1


 Habitat: Under [valley] oak in grassy lawn Stem: Dark brown, 1-1 1/2 inches, sturdy fiberous Gills: Brown, decurrent, (posssible subdecurrent?) Cap:Dark Brown wet fading to brown when dry Spores: Brown Bruising:Dark Brown Location: Marin County
Specimen #2



Habitat: Same as #1 Stem: Virtually non-existant, tough Gills: Tan whiteish, maze-like Cap: Brown, crecent shaped Spores: White Bruising: Brown Location: Same as #1
Specimen #3


 Habitat: Growing from base of [valley] oak Stem: Light tan Gills: Dark tan, unsure of classification Cap: 1/2 inch tan Spores: Very dark brown Bruising: No noticible, maybe tan on the stem Locaton: Same as others
Specimen #4
 Habitat: Growing at the base of [valley] oak Stem:1/2-1 inch, tan, white fiberous interior Gills: Light brown, unsure of classification Cap: Darker, woody brown, 1/2-1 inch diameter Spores: Brown Bruising: None noticible Location: Same as others
Specimen #5 (last one, I promise)
 Habitat: Same as #1 Stem: 1 inch, very light brown, hollowish Gills: Slightly darker brown, (attached?) Cap: Very light tan, 2-2 1/2 inches Spores: Brown Brusing: Not noticible, maybe slightly darker Brown Location: Same as all of them

2 is a Thelephora sp., I'm not sure about 1.

Awesome thanks for the help! I hope it's not paxillus, here I was thinking they looked good to eat! I'll try to make a spore print later.

So on my way to pick some of these guys I found 2 more varities! I'll upload them tomorrow along with the spore prints etc.
Btw all of these are growing under an oak. (we think a black oak?)

Still waiting on those prints, i'll post them some time after I'm back from school. Here is one of the new kinds of mushrooms I spotted growing directly from the tree trunk.
 Not sure why the picture is upside down, but what the hell is that thing? I didnt even notice it until after I took the picture!

 Pictures of the tree that all the mushrooms are growing under.

You can fix that on your side by going to display preferences, scrolling to the bottom and setting the "Limit width of images in posts? (0 to disable)" field to the width of your screen.
His pics look fine on my screen, and they are Psathyrella candolleana.
