I guess I could see the convenience, no disposing of the beans, no cleaning the french press, no need to boil water or grind the beans. Although you could just be a bum like me, pre-grind beans ahead of time, store them in a jar next to a french press, throw some in there when you wake up, boil water, boom you got coffee. I dump the used beans out but really only clean the press once a week cause I dont give a fuck
I wouldn't personally own one in my own house but I love how office buildings have them nowadays. The place I worked at this summer had one and I never had to worry about bringing coffee or tea with me, plus it was free, quick, and easy

You can throw the used beans in a yard or garden.
Or you could be disgusting as fuck and make red eyed gravy with it.

Fuck Keurig, what happened to brewing your own cup of coffee like the old timers do at AA Meetings.

I agree.
I have a press I use, I grind my beans before adding to the press for a better flavor.

Bahahahaahaa
First time I had that shit I was driving down the road and there was a cooler sitting on the side of the road. I turned around, figured it fell off a truck.
It was filled with cafe modelo, sour patch kids, and cheese crackers......like 2 months supply of the 3 of them.
Stuff is like 2 bucks at the dollar store for a brick.
It's a lot better than some name brand stuff. I would drink it over folgers or maxipad house anyday of the week.
I sipping on some new stuff gevelia released here ( dunno if they do different stuff in different areas ) but I got their new guatemala roast and their papua new guinea roast.

I had one of these, I forget the brand but the first few weeks it was great, after that the quality kept degrading until it only warmed water slightly. it obviously wasnt made in the 50s

Ya sunbeam coffeemaster.
The percolator I had was built like a freaking tank. I was finding a lot of weird vintage stuff at this thrift store in the middle of no where. I dropped it off the back of my truck one night though and it broke. It still made the coffee but if you let it roast for a minute too long it was burnt as hell. It was undrinkable for 20 minutes after pouring. It worked perfect for a couple years, but that fall fucked the hotplate in it and just torched my stuff.
I found another one about 9 months ago at a goodwill from the 80's old school JC Penny one, 16 cups, yellow, and never used. Thing was a relic. I couldn't even find it online. Couldn't afford 5 bucks at the time though.

I had a stovetop percolator with a glass cap, my mom kept breaking the cap because she'd let the lid slam and frequently boil it dry. I am forced to deal with drip coffee because my mother seems to have lost all her marbles when it comes to taking care, or at least not destroying my shit

I have the V2.0 and hate it.. I feel like it uses more power than a regular Mr coffee as it's on almost all day. I have to preheat my cups with hot water or the coffee is cold.

I have a Keurig as well. Had it for about 6 years and still works mint I used to buy the k-cups but its such a waste of money so I just use the ones you can fill yourself and re-use. Besides, I use organic, fair trade, house roasted local coffee. Far better than any store bought. Usually go to the farmers market for fresh coffee.
I buy the k-cups sometimes if they are on sale, but even then its still way overpriced for a pack of 12.

Amazing? Are you a burger critic too? I bet the big mac gets a 10/10?
Like what brand?
The act of steaming hot water blowing through individually packaged cups and giving me no where near BLACK coffee.
I want my grounds at the bottom. I want to taste the brew. Like cali said, I wanna go through the act of prepping it and of smelling it brew.
I will drink keurig coffee. But I don't tell anyone about it when I do.
A big Mac most definitely deserve a solid 9/10
Countless scientists and chefs created that recipe and several millions of dollar went into it. The taste of a Big Mac is phenomenal.

the keurig 2.0 looks for a specific resistance value provided by the foil. my aunt wanted one but didnt want to pay for the k-cups from keurig, I pulled the foil off one of the cups, stuck it in the top and it works great with anything now

Horrendously wasteful and bad for the environment. Instead of one plastic container with all your coffee, you have disposable waste produced for every single cup, plus delicious plastic residue in every sip, and the build up of harmful bacteria in the machine itself.
The guy who invented these has gone on record saying that it was the worst thing he ever did and he deeply regrets it.

I had one of them and they're really rather good Nespresso machines are cool too, their "special" type of coffee which only they make are tasty, for me it's an interesting type but I don't think that it's so cool as it's advertised Personally I have this Inissia one

I like also the coffee makers with grinders like in this list on Cozzy.org, they're really cool and comfortable with such combination But I don't have one because they're too expensive for me, besides almost all models are too big for my small kitchen
