Hi there! this is my first post on this forum. I went out for a wee walk up in the north of Scotland and having recently bought a book about mushrooms, i thought i would grab a few that I thought may be interesting! I think they some of them may be Psilocybe semilanceata, or more commonly known as liberty caps. if some one could help me identify them that would be very much appreciated. here is a few photos let me know what you think!
there is a few different types as far as i can tell.
the lighter coloured ones where picked in a public park:

I snapped off the stem here so you can see the gills a bit better.

I took a spore print which didn't turn out that great, I am currently doing another one which will hopefully turn out better.

Okay and here are the other slightly different ones i picked. These i found next to a field which i think may have recently had cattle in it. I had to rake though the long grass to find these and they where very wet. there was only a small patch of these.

any way guys any information would be great!

Well, you've got Psilocybe semilanceata aka "Liberty Caps", that's sure enough.
The ones with the blue caps are quite astonishing. I remember seeing pictures of similar ones here on the forum back in the days. I think that is quite a rare feature. A nice first post, welcome to the site!

What you just posted is confirmation that this is a bruising reaction and not the initial context colour - caused by oxidisation of active compounds. It's unusually strong enough in your specimens that I racked my brain to think of possible alternatives (blue, dark-spored mushrooms that look just like classic pointy libs - none, really). The balance of compounds in libs normally favours light bruising if any.
It may be worth getting some good clean spore prints from these, not that they are an obvious candidate for cultivation - their requirements seem very tricky to replicate - but for genetic comparisons. That's how cool I think they are.
