Found my very first fully mature fruits today! Actually, my gf spotted them lol. I apparently can't spot them very well. Was such a fun feeling, thanks to everybody who I've bothered by asking questions via PM (a good handful of you) and thanks to everybody I've seen out in the field who has given me advice. You all really helped me out, it is much appreciated  :thanx:  :1upshroom:

Are you in Oregon or Washington? I'm really curious if ovoids have started to spread.

Beautiful Bubbs :mushroom2: Great thanks guys! I'm excited to see them mature if someone doesn't get em. Yeah now that you mention it Hunter they do have a strong smell! Actually really reminds me of fresh Cubes or a jar of cube Mycelium. I'm in Western WA, but give them time i'm sure they'll make their way down there. If i get a chance i'll give them a little nudge in the right direction as well. Some spores, stem butts, and fresh wood chips can do wonders.

Unfortunately I didn't get any great gill shots but in the first picture you can see the annulus remnant. And in the third picture its plain as day. Next time I go to look at them i'll get a veil shot for you joust. Is my credibility really so bad you guys wont even believe I could have an actual find? Its seems pretty clear to me, now it just feels like an interrogation. If you want to see more pictures joust I posted some on two occasions on the last page.

The second picture you can clearly see the beginning of a veil on the far right mushrooms that is bruising. And yeah as WCH said, third picture the veil is plain as day. They are ovoids.

There is a neat little patch in my backyard this year in a spot where I've never put any spawn. Didn't put mulch down there either. Some wood chips have fallen on the ground in this area but not a significant amount. It's mostly needles and moss. Nevertheless they decided it was a good spot.

Also have what I believe are allenii coming up in a pot where a huge allenii culture was placed a few years ago. They came from either a clone or multi spore culture from the allenii in my signature. Can't remember which. Either way, I really thought they were cyans at first. There are a few cyans in the same pot (not pictured, probably should photograph them too). Today when I got home I really expected the biggest one to start getting upturned and wavy like most cyans. But its still pretty dome shaped. It does have a few smaller wavy spots but those are consistent with the allenii parch I found and had confirmed a few years ago. What do yall think? I'm waiting on the other pins to mature to make a decision.

I also found some very strange psilocybes with topcorn the other day that we forgot to photograph. Got some stem butts and took prints. I'll have to try and remember to get pictures next time I'm out. The caps were fairly small and looked as if they were domed or flat during maturity and then became very upturned (not wavy) after their prime. They were smaller than cyans. I just wonder if it was an environmental issue. They were coming up through some very wirey plant material that had been thrown down in the area. They were cyans all around so it makes me think they could be. They just look so different. Here are some pictures of some dried specimens I kept.

I'm attempting something similar in my yard.  I'm adding a layer of hickory and apple smoker chips that I had surplus under select shrubs around the yard.  I haven't seeded them with spawn or stem butts and am prepared to see what nature offers as the chips break down and become usable.  The rain should be soaking them good.  I suspect it will become fertile over a couple of seasons, it's just a question of what with.  In the meantime I will try to remember to dress the areas with fresh chips occasionally.

Much clearer pics west coast hunt. Clearly see bluing in these pics, and veil remnant. Its just that one pic was weird looking. I would say they are ovoids. If still unsure do a spore print. Ovoids seem the trickiest of all the psilocybes i have seen. Seems the have fairly drastic variances in appearance.

seems legit to me, let them mature a little more and you might see more classic ovoid features. I think your right,
