so I have a few jars of APE that I got going from a clone I did in Liquid Culture... (i followed someones instructions to take the base of the mushroom and rub it in rubbing alcohol and then poke a 14g sterile syring through it with a little bit of water left in the needle then pushed that into a jar of water slash honey... anyways i dont remember where i saw it but i think it worked) now all i had laying around was cracked corn and I got one jar i am kind of worried... it was all good then it started to grow a little different on one side... I think it might be cobweb?

sorry if pic isn't clear enough my camera / lighting suck but idk i don't see any cobweb mold growing but its not as think as the other side like its light and airy if that makes sense?
thanks guys!

i forgot to mention most the jars are quart sized and i did some pint size testing and i didnt get any blue and greens and I did a few brf cakes... this is one of the pints i filled with corn and did first and they are about a week old... the quarts all seem to be doing fine... and so do the brown rice flower... the only difference i did between the quarts and the pints was I added a little more verm in the pints. all the jars where pressure cooked at 15 psi for 90 mins except the brf and some more liquid cultures those where 30 mins at 15 psi
here are the BRF

so am i just being paranoid about using cracked corn and i should start making some working cultures off this?

one last question... last time i lost a brf cake to first cobweb... I sprayed it with h202 (whatever percent it comes from the store i think 3%) and the cobweb went away... but 2 days later a green mold took over and had to toss it...
so is cobweb mold just not curable via h202? or did i just have bad luck? or am i missing something does the h202 have to sterilized?
I only get on here every so often sorry about the questions and concerns I am having
Peace

First pic is too shitty to tell what's going on. Second pic looks great. Green mold is not related to cobweb. They are separate contaminants. That cake was probably overall fucked.

You got that foil laying there behind the jars kind of like you only removes them for the pic. Make sure you're leaving it off. Leaving it on will only hurt your efforts.
Like was already said, your last cake was probably shot from the jump. H202 does kill cobweb, but cobweb is extremely rare, and is not green. That's the only thing peroxide is good for tho.
