-------------------- The biggest trip of my life was realizing all of the events and actions described in posts made by this account were never real and had never actually happened, but were instead the delusional ramblings of a severely mentally ill human being. I just had to move on for my own good. I love you all.

no need to spend all that money when indirect sunlight is free and bulbs could be purchased much cheaper.

I'd bet it will work, it is a little pricey, but then again those LED will probably last near forever so it could be worth it if you're not concerned about upfront costs. Keep an eye out for deals when you're going through stores shopping, I've had things as simple as a couple of cheap-ass dollar store LED nightlights work too, and the same with a clip on desk lamp with a cool white CFL(I used this for my first few successful attempts ages ago).

Yeah I wouldn't buy that. That's so much money for an inferior product for this use. Seems odd that you'd settle on this as a potential grow light, given the insane price and useless features ("Lunar LED Lamps"??? No thanks.)
As mentioned, just get a high color temperature bulb and toss it in any lamp.

i love specialized shit but not for that much $$.
a pack of 4 6500k floro bulbs was 8.99. and i use an old lamp.
also the sun is awesome for fruiting if you can keep it on the DL.

IF you really want to go LED, you can for cheap. I wouldn't use your LED strip because of cost, but an I found an LED bulb at Dollar General that is nearly 6500K, 800 Lumen, and maybe 30, 40 watts? Anyway, it's like 10 bucks. More expensive than you're average CFL, but they last pretty much forever and are not going to need replaced anytime soon.
Just grab a couple desk lamps and use those or CFLs, and indirect sunlight and you'll be in business without breaking the wallet.
