My agar looks like this but my grains look like this

Hello all.
Just wanted to show you guys and get feedback about what's going on here.
I just started seriously using agar. Have been using 60mm plates because my first attempt my 90mm dishes dried up. I now know why and will get getting 90mm plates again for growth area.
I use a sab cleaned and misted with soap water. Always flame sterilize instruments. Gloves, iso etc.etc.
I have agar that's been transferred away twice from a GT pin. The growth on it looks strange, weak, but has the same growth rate as myc. My first thought was mold but was not sure so I transferred small wedges to grain to see how they would grow out.
Results to me..slightly confusing I didn't think I had myc in my plates I figured it was just mold. Yet as far as I can tell looks good too me.
I just don't know what do you think?

It looks like my oyster clone:

Cubensis mycelium is denser sometimes but I think you are OK. Can you tell me your agar recipe? This can be the reason or genetics.
You should observe this spot the next days:

FORMULA: 35.7% Malt Extract 1.8% Pancreatic Digest of Gelatin (Peptone G) 35.7% Dextrose 26.8% Agar Agar.
Got it online I dissolve 16.6 grams in 300ml distilled water. The instructions say add 100 grams too 1.8 l of water so I just did the math
I was using PDA at first 200g potatoes boiled 40 mins added 20gs dextrose 20 gs water too 1l of distilled water. Same results. I thought maybe it was the agar I was making as well so I picked up mea.
Sorry that spot is from using hard water in my PC its on the outside of the jar.

Ha, I thought it looked like oyster mycelium as well. OP, back down the concentration of your agar to 2-3% and you should see more rhizomorphic growth.
Edit - sorry, just realized the agar is in the mix already. Also has quite a variety of nutes so it's probably gonna produce whispy/finer growth. Backing it down still might work fine but it might be a bit soft...

Only 2% agar? I feel like it would be a bit watery do you mean go down 2 or 3%

I was saying 2-3% nutrient concentration before I realized the medium you're using was already premixed. The recipe you have is closer to 5% 4% nutrients which will produce weaker looking mycelium...typically. Might just be the blend you have which seems rich to me.

Definitely looks good to me. Growing flat along the plate for most part. My first post. I'm new to growing mushrooms, but I do have experience using agar. If it's growing slow I think its better than fast, usually the mold will take over a plate pretty fast.

1000mlh20 20g Light malt extract (powdered) 20g Agar 2g yeast extract or ground yeast
Try dog food or oat meal in place of the malt for variety. These are pretty standard and work great for a variety of species. You can play with the nutrient concentration this way to see what works best for any given situation.
Sorry, my initial post was poorly-worded.
