Seizure from too much THC?

a friend of mine collapsed in the bathroom this morning while getting ready for school. he said he felt it build up & started shaking. he doesn't think he lost consciousness. He has no earlier experiences with seizures or epilepsy or anything like that. After that he was able to walk to bed but was super sensitive to light and had fast heartbeat. And he said he felt very high, probably more so than the night before when he ingested the THC.
We think it might be because he was baking hasch cookies yesterday, ate a little (definitely not that much) but also licked the THC oil from his fingers, which i read can be very potent. He was just really stoned yesterday but just seemed chill and happy. that was about maybe 2am & he collapsed at 7:30am - shouldn't he have been less stoned by then? has it been building up over the night?
he's been smoking daily for maybe a week and takes adhd medicine sometimes, but if he took it yesterday it should have been out of the body several hours before he ingested.
I know i've fainted on weed before even if i wasn't that high. But can it cause seizures? Should we go see a doctor just in case?
edit: it's possible that he's taken a lesser dose DMT that afternoon

I thought this was going to be another dab story. When you ingest THC the absorption rate is a lot slower than smoking of course. It was probably still well on the incline way after 2am. I was high for a very long time with my first edible. I don't know why that would have caused a seizure though. Maybe your friend was already slightly epileptic?

ADHD meds suck. I have heart problems from them now because I was put on it at such a young age. If there's anyway he can do without them and he values his health I would encourage him to stay away from them.

How long was he on the ground & shaking/convulsing? Did he feel anything leading up to the point that he collapsed?
It could have very well just been convulsive syncope instead of an actual seizure....Convulsive syncope can be caused by low blood pressure, and cannabis does lower blood pressure.
More often than not this is what's happening when people think they or their friends have just collapsed into a seizure (I literally see threads about this at least once a month in regards to cannabis and/or mushrooms). Convulsions are not uncommon when one faints.

Syncopy induced convulsions. If you pass out due to orthostatic tension (getting up too quick) then your friend, like seventy something percent of the population, also convulse while fainting. They have studied these fits in the lab and they do not show any epileptiforms on EEG, so no, most likely not a seizure, unless he smacked his head on the way down.

Smart folks on this site. vasovagal syncope type events are good suggestions. The fact he didnt loose awareness suggests not seziure stuff. Though its possible. And epilepsy is most dangerous in young men. If you are really worried you could sleep in his room a few nights and keep an eye.

I have seizures occasionally, though THC seems to reduce the chances for me from what I can tell
