nope. I cut out all processed sugars. I eat an apple a day maybe. mostly whole grains, legumes, small amounts of fruit, tons of veggies, healthy oils/fats, and some fish, eggs, and yogurt.
once a week I let loose and eat a few cheat meals. Thats it

I'm fat moastly because I consumed too much sugar during much of my life.
Currently I strive to stay under the WHO recommendation of 30 grams of sugar (15gr fructose) a day. Ever since I do that, my weight drops.

It depends on your body too. My brother drinks soda and eats pasta every day, and works at a computer, every day, litteraly never exercises, yet his bmi is absolutely ideal. I have a feeling the sugar and carbs really isnt so bad for him specifically because of his metabolism type at this point. (Hes 29 years old)

I'm almost 35 and the same. I consume a metric fuckton of sugar. I exercise but probably not as much as I should. Regardless... I never get fat or gain weight, no matter what I eat. I just have a super insane metabolism.

I don't eat added sugars but fruit is simply everything I eat so... I don't actually know.

I've always hated overly sweet stuff like birthday cake cupcakes etc. I do like recess peanut butter cups and sour patch kids though. Overall, I enjoy savory/salty foods over sweet.

I can highly recommend Xylitol. The stuff coasts about 10 bucks a kilo, 5 bucks a pound, and is almost as sweet and the same in every way as sugar.

that could actually be a sign of a serious health problem such as ass gnomes, parasitic gnomes that live in your ass and steal your food, they breed rapidly to make up for their short lifespan so it would be a wise idea to start shitting into a dish and taking apart the poos to see if they've managed to slip the dead ass gnome into the poo in order to dispose of it's body

hey for all the people who are trying to cut out sugar here; take apple cider vinegar capsules. Or just the vinegar. It sounds filthy. Drinking vinegar? but this specifically has some wierd probiotic in it that makes you no longer crave unhealthy food. You think im fucking with you but it makes you no longer crave sugar. I was obese earlier in life and I 100% believe sugar is addictive some harder drugs. Maybe on the level of nicotine
Also; replace all sugary drinks with water, coffee, tea, or with "zevia", or stevia soda. anytime you crave sugar, just go for fruit instead

No prob. its at most grocery stores I think. its not that great at first but you start to enjoy the subtle flavor after awhile, plus you know its got that pop. I'm always stocked on it. Favorite flavor: apricot believe it or not.

Not anymore. Sugar is an addiction, almost as bad as some drug addictions. I was a terrible sugar junkie.... litres of energy drinks a day and high carb meals, sometimes candy and chocolate. Now the only high sugar food I eat is fresh fruit and legumes. I also avoid grains but sometimes indulge, usually after a workout and at the weekly family gatherings. Getting clean from the sugar addiction (processed and nutritious-less sugar) is among one of the best things I've done, along with opiates I completely refuse to eat any processed sugar now, even at the weekly family gatherings. It is just giving into that sugar rush and craving

I used to eat tons of sugar from the age of 8 to 14, my parents never gave me sugar as a child but i discovered it at friends houses and started a candy addiction, had to get like 6 teeth pulled because of it in 4th grade. then i sort of slowly woke up and started to understand the difference between glucose and processed sugar. I still go through little sugar eating binges for a few days where I eat lots of cookies or something when I'm super stressed out, but then I stop myself. Now i drink mostly only water, and eat good food. I'd rather the occasional drug use which feels better than the shitty sugar rush which decays ur teeth.

The sugar substitutes and the butter substitutes are just as bad as what they're replacing. JUST FUCKING STOP.Have some snacks early then eat one large meal of vegetables at the end of the day. I check every single box when I go to the store and make sure nothing I buy has any added sugar. I just checked my weight today and I'm down to a skeletal 144 even though I have a large 6'3 frame. I know it doesnt look good but I dont care. When you take this many drugs you gotta go the veggies.

Yes I consume to much sugar, I at a lot of fruit and greek yogurt, and since it's that time of year, some Halloween candy.
I use stevia in my coffee though, or in oatmeal. I can't have to much sugar, makes me feel depressed if I eat to much of it.
I saw a video about the actors in the movie 300, and the guy that helped them get in shape for their roles, said cutting sugar will lean you out quick.
I plan on giving this a try again in the near future, ive done it before with great results.

I eat no sugar except from usually a small amount of fruit every day.

But fruits have fiber which slow the absorption of sugar and phytonutients/Hormetic compounds that reduce or eliminate the negative effects. Depending on what fruit you eat, of course. I don't think bananas are probably all that good but berries are very good for you.

Yeah, Stevia is one of the only sugar-replacements that is actually good for you. It doesn't taste all that great... But if you get the flavored kinds they taste really good. I use the vanilla one for smoothies and what not.
And the Stevia sodas are really good. We have those where I work and I drink em all the time.
I'm 6 ft 2 and weigh 160 no matter what I eat. I could eat nothing but sugary crap all day erry day and still be 160. But honestly, I feel so much better after going hard on the healthy eating and excercise that it blows my mind actually how much different I feel and look from when I used to not give a shit about what I put into my body.

Rarely to barely. I don't have much of a sweet tooth. I turn down sweets all the time. All though I will slay a bag of sour patch kids or hot tamales if I'm in the mood/really stoned.
Other than that though it's very rarely. If I go on a drinking binder and sober up for the first couple weeks I'll consume tons of sugar and salt however. And caffeine.

when I was in my teens I drank a lot of soft drinks, after I turned 18 I cut them out all together and had not had one for about 10 years, the first one I drank was a coke which is what I had always drank as a kid, i will admit, it tasted really bad

Try to eat 48gr of pure (cow) butter and see how you feel.
Sugar is really poison if taken in excess.
I feel physically unwell if I drink a can of soda, more so than when I drink a can of beer.
Weight for weight, sugar is probably as bad for you as pure everclear. Think about that for a sec.

Discuss.
The amount of sugar i consume is disgusting. And the worst part is my little boy is consuming tons of it as well...it makes me feel like a bad father but my wife doesnt seem to give a shit about our childs sugar intake.
I eat a ton of sugar too: sodas, juice, candy, candy bars, cookies, ice cream, waffles wth surup, more cookies. im lukcy i dont have diabetes.
I wonder if my future child will eat as much as i do. Or maybe he will hate sweets like sanchostoner does.

Wow I had no idea how much over my DRV of sugar most foods/beverages were. The can of ginger ale I'm drinking has 35 grams and I'm supposed to only have 20 grams in a day. That's fucking ridiculous. I got loads of diabetes in the family too.
I know salt is just as bad. Most people consume at least 1000 miligrams over the DRV of salt too. And I'm sure I'm not exempt from that category either. Oiy why is food 90% bullshit these days? Our taste buds are spoiled from it too.
I also have hypertension. I honestly don't know how to count my DRV of sodium or sugar without asking alot of annoying hippie questions and googling everything I eat.
