The other pics are kind of massive, so PICTURE ALBUM HERE

Habitat: Found both in grass and on a pile of debris (mostly wood, pine needles, grass, dirt, hay). Potentially found near dung (tons of animals and lots of rain to wash away the dung, hard to be sure).

Gills: Gray-brown with black spores, look 'dusty.' Adnexed.

Stem: White to light brown nearer base, doesn't snap easily, slightly enlarged at base. 3?mm wide (no ruler and I'm bad at eyeballing).

Cap: Brown, smooth, hygrophanous, about an 3/4 of an inch across.

Spore print color: Black. Maybe purple-black. Spore print got blurred because my cat insists he's interested in mycology but none of the ones I've done on this shroom in the past have been very 'neat' looking. If requested I can grab another to do a fresh take.

Bruising: No color change was observed.

Location: Eastern Mid Vancouver Island, PNW.

These look like Parasola conopilus.  Or perhaps another similar Psathyrella species.  They are not Panaeolus.
