Veils tearing smaller mushrooms

Hiya folks, My first blast at the Pf tek, and very first shrooms, thank you all.
Was overall pretty painless but now I'm seeing some of our smaller shrooms are tearing already.
They have slightly fuzzy feet so I've increased fanning, conversely I've read too much fanning can cause the veils to break early? It's a little difficult wading through the outdated info so I'm not sure.
Anything particularly wrong you guys can see? Sgfc is to spec, 4/5 inches of perlite, temps get a little cold overnight, 69f about 73 during the day, indirect light from a window a couple of feet away.
Will the smaller ones grow anymore or should I just pick them now?

Increasing fanning isn't going to do anything for fuzzy feet. The only purpose to fanning is to speed up evaporation after misting. This is pointless after it's already pinned. Increasing fanning and increasing FAE are not the same thing, which is what would decrease the fuzzy feet, however, they don't look bad at all in your example. You're always going to have a little bit of fuzz at the bottom, but it does not look excessive at all in your pics so I would not worry about your FAE.
As far as size, could be several things, genetics, lack of water, nutrients, too much water, etc, but it's best for a vet or TC or answer that question because I don't know the answer.
Don't pick now though IMO. Wait until the caps start to flatten a bit just before they start to spore drop. They will get a bit bigger.

You should be cultivating reptiles and fish, not mushrooms.

Thanks for the info, perhaps I'm doing more harm than good with the extra fanning. they do seem to drying out a bit quicker maybe they're getting thirsty. I'm usually misting 3 times a day with about 30 seconds of fanning after. Do I not need to fan at all at this point?
I could see some spores dropping so decided to pick a few, they haven't flattened out much.

It's a box riddled with holes, you really don't need to fan ever, as said one does not FAE, the passive chamber full of holes takes care of that. Pretty good looking mushrooms to me, congrats
Genetics can definitely play a part in size and fuzzy feet but I'd say they're smaller because that's usually what happens when you have several on one cake, thier is only so much water available so the more mush the smaller they are. If you see a good pinset coming in like that you can sit your cake in a shallow saucer of water to help.

Well I wish I knew that before would've saved me some arm ache lol.
Thanks for the kind words they do seem to be doing surprisingly well
Yeah that does make sense, I've read the second flush tends to produce bigger fruits too. I'll give them a bit more of a misting then hold back the fanning and see how they get on. Saucer of water sounds like a good idea. I may give that a try.
Thanks for the help
