It really is amazing how potent of a pain killer it is without the negative effects of traditional opiates/addiction.

I think what makes one less prone to kratom addiction is the fact that tolerance rises fast and by upping the dose youll have to consume more disgusting shit

I agree with kratom i reach a threshold effect in which I cannot get any higher and or buzz from the powder...I find that the initial dose with an empty stomach is the best way to take it toss n wash. I think the plant pretty much balances itself out I do not know if that will be possible should a pharmaceutical company put it in a pill regardless I don't believe it acts on the respiratory system and thus cannot be overdosed on in the sense that you would die.

Its definitely possible to put kratom in a pill but first theyll have to find how exactly it works. Its already been found out that it effects an array of receptors but not much is known about how much each of those contributes to the effects. Some of kratoms unique effects seem to stem from its mix of opioid agonists and antagonists but they might also be a result of its actions at serotonin, adrenaline, adenosine or NMDA receptors

I've got more than I know what to do with lol. Gonna get more too before it's over. I've been using 5 grams a day and I have at least 2 kilos. I definitely have to take a tolerance break though. Actually, just started after my last dose this morning.

I should jar mine up, I have 3 unopened bags that should last a long while in their silver airtight packages.
But I also have 1 big open bag that is hard to remover the air from. I was thinking of just putting some in a smaller bag to use and sealing the rest back up.

If you're storing in the long term, be sure to use desiccant pouches. They are cheap and can keep your stuff lasting longer. I've never used Kratom though, I use them for other stuff. Don't know how necessary they might be for Kratom, but if there is degradation in it from water, they are good to use.

I don't think that would be necessary, I have never had an issue with moisture in my kratom bags even when leaving them partially open for days
I live in a super moist climate too. Air and light are the two main issues I can think of.

Mitragynine and relatives are indoles, it is highly unlikely they have nearly the shelf life of traditional opiods. Personally, I notice a considerable loss of potency over just a month (Roughly 10%) after opening. In every way, too, not just weaker stim/opi/relaxant effects. I based my kratom purchases almost entirely on freshness (Ordering what was just restocked), as it makes a dramatic difference for me. It is obvious in texture and taste, weighing out old krat sounds like pouring sand/salt/etc. and gets a distinct musty taste, while fresh stuff is softer, quieter, and clumps up.

Have you heard of or tried Bentuangie kratom? It is supposedly been fermented in the sun to change its alkaloid content.
I believe its common with red viens and makes the effects less sedating perhaps but it is not an exact science clearly.

I dont know where you get your info but mitragynine is a stable molecule. Have some.
