Bolete identification. Is it edible?
    #23783873 - 10/29/16 09:05 PM (7 years, 3 months ago)

Bolete from Long Beech, WA. Growing in a conifer forest.

I could not tell what color the spores are. It has blue/ black bruising and a red cap that was easy to wipe off the cap color.
There are 4 different specimens in the pictures.

Thanks for your help.

Leccinum insigne / aurantiacum / vulpinum group.

These are edible for most people, and should be cooked well to avoid problems.
