So I accidentally added too much naps. I collected it in a glass bottle. Its clouding like hell. It has been in the freezer for a few hours now
I tried the baking dish approach before. (where you dry it out on a glass dish) But I think that this is too much liquid to work with and it will just cloud up and nothing cool will happen. I think its simply too much volume of naps to dmt ratio for anything to percip. Is this true?
How would I reduce the volume of naps?
I ran an extraction on 125 mg of bark acacia confusa bark btw

Uhh, you didn't really ask a question? Just put a normal amount in a Pyrex dish, let it freeze, dry and scrape. Then apply the rest and do the same.
If that's what you're asking, I dunno. Sorry if I wasn't much help. Good luck!

If you've got too much naphtha, put it in a dish, and let it sit under a fan open top, until enough evaporates that you have the amount you want

haha thanks I edited it to add a question. I just realized I wasn't really clear in my first post. But thanks this sort of answered it. I assume I will throw in just a tiny amount and then add to the dish after the initial amount has crystalized?
I am thinking about 50ml at a time?

I would stick it back in the freezer and be patient, a few hours isn't enough. If it's cloudy that's your alkaloids precipitating out. Wait for the solution to get clear, it will, and then the bottom of your vessel should have nice fluffy crystals in it.

well the what would i do with these crystals? Lets say I have a bottle with a layer of dmt on the bottom? Do the crystals freely float around when I shake it? Or do they stick to the sides? Because I just checked and it is stuck to the sides. I am in no hurry to blastoff so I will wait 1-2 more days (its already been about 24 hours). If the crystals and not properly formed due to excess nap/dmt ratio, or they just cling to the bottle, I will heat it up in a warm water tub thing and then pour it into a tray and that should make life a little easier

They will stick to the side and float. You can either wash the ones that are stuck out and then dry them in a dish, while catching the ones that float in a filter, or you can crystallize it in a dish, pour off your solvent, and then dry them.
