I'd say psilocybe cyanescens. Wait for a second opinion definitely since I've never seen any psilocybe species in person (because all are extremely rare where I live).

They are definitely Psilocybes, probably cyanescens.

Not necessarily, but it's certainly worth checking. I've been to spots that didn't produce next year, but also some that have. Not sure why. I thought maybe the local council had replaced the wood chips.

Get a bag of alder chips for a wood smoker from bi-mart or where ever and soak them in a bucket of water for a 3-4 days until they are saturated, cut the stem butts off the mushrooms you picked and add them to the wood chips, create a new patch in a shady northern location near your house, they will probably fruit next fall. Also next time when you pick use scissors because ripping them out can damage the mycelium. I would put the stem butts on wet cardboard for now until the wood chips are ready, the mycelium will die without food.

The one thing that I regret was not washing them before drying..not sure how I feel about eating some dirt or whatever that managed stay attached to them for this long. Lol

Depends, a little bit of dirt could also contain helminths eggs or some other sort of parasite.

That will probably kill most parasites, but I'm not sure if about all of them. There is always the possibility there weren't anything harmful in the dirt to begin with. Personally I wouldn't worry about it too much, but it is something to keep in mind. One good example of soil with harmful parasites are raccoon latrines where the accumulated feces can contain the roundworm, Baylisascaris procyanis.
