. The polls show that Hillary is leading. ( not by much ) on Election Day I believe trump wins and wins big. There is a lot of closet trump fans that are gonna show up in masses. A lot of people are afraid to admit that we like him for some reason.

I am inclined to say he has content. The fact is in favor of both parties they have closet voters Polls such as Reuters poll a select number of people. In the case of Reuters it is 1500 people that are polled every 3 days. The data is collective over the established time period. Election day this year will likely have a substantial amount of voters turn out that are not responding to polls, as was the case in the Obama election the first time.

Does Trump really have "closet supporters"? Every Trump supporter I've encountered is very vocal and proud, but I guess if they're in the closet, I wouldn't know.

I literally remember the same thing said about Obama. Everyone kept saying the polls werent accurate because people would say they were voting for obama due to white guilt but in private vote against him. 8 years later..
Clinton was always going to win.

After a long day at work where he was forced under threat of violence to keep his political views to himself, hostileuniverse drives home. He does the speed limit and signals every turn, careful to stay within bounds of law and order. After pulling into his driveway, he walks to the front door and unlocks it. He steps inside, then turns around, glancing left and right before closing the door. Safely inside, he breathes a sigh of relief. "Safe at last", he assures himself.
After getting himself a cold O'Doul's from the fridge, hostileuniverse goes around his house and double checks that all the doors are locked and bolted, and that all the window blinds are pulled. Confident that no one can see inside, he goes to the closet and removes a hatbox from the top shelf. As he opens it, he smiles to himself. From the box, he removes a red ball cap, emblazoned with the words MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN. He puts it on his head and sighs again. Hostileuniverse then sits down at his laptop, fully prepared to educate those libtards in The Pub.

basically all you're saying is that Trump will get the majority vote.. what would interest me more is why those people are voting for him, and what demographic they are.
For the most part, I would say those voters are lower to upper middle class white people who want to protect their piece of the pie, something which, if they thought about it all, would be far less at stake than they believe it to be.
It's more important, in this day and age, to vote ethically, almost emotionally, for the purpose of creating a world in which everyone feels like they have a voice that can be heard. For example, choosing a candidate who, at the very least, speaks out against privatized prisons, the keystone of the prison industrial complex and mass-incarceration of minorities.
By including minority groups of people into the center stage of politics, the conversations that we have on the national scale can turn towards the concerns of how to make this a better world for everyone, not just a way to reduce taxes so that those who already have a decent income can live slightly more luxuriously.

I think we're in a time where ethics don't matter in this election because each candidate is completely sinister. Hillary more so than Trump, so voting for Hillary is in no way the ethical choice.
Imo, having everyone's voice heard, or the possibility of it, is a fantasy that won't exist in America

I disagree with the supposition that hillary clinton is ethically inferior to donald trump. The man is a walking ball of slime, when you consider his business practices, his statements both private and public.
The worst thing that Hillary clinton has done is no worse than any of the other politicians who are in the game right now. That doesn't make it okay, to have double standards and to manipulate people, but at least it's par for the course. Supporting sexism, racism, xenophobia, threatening all out war in the middle east, creating business structures where your workers actually fucking die on your work sites and it's no big deal, creeping on little girls, raping his wife ( it's in the divorce case before any of this was public knowledge ), and preying on the ignorance and the stupidity of the masses is far worse than just being a mold-fitting politician.

So you've already given up on trying to create a better world? It's not like you can flip a switch and then all of a sudden everything is in a state of balance, nationally, but having that as a goal to reach is important. What we could do, for starters, is actually think about things ethically rather than strictly economically.

Yes, I pointed out in the immediate post after that it was reported in August.
And yes, the article itself is biased. But the prediction is/was not. That guy (Alan Abramowitz) just does it off a formula. He's not some republican just hoping that Trump wins. This same guy predicted four democratic term victories since 1988, so he's not toeing a party line.
That said, I'm not saying that it means jack shit. For all I know since then he's changed his prediction. And even if he hasn't, it's just a prediction, and predictions often end up wrong. But it is worth noting that the dude's formula has been correct on every election since 1988.

Stealing campaign signs from people's yards is a time honored tradition, an American passtime. It's a laugh in the face of people so rediculously partisan that they use slogans as lawn art.
You probably stole FDR yard signs when you were a lad Hostile. Right before you got conscripted to fight the Germans.

The US has been sending weapons to Saudi Arabia for decades. They are our military ally. The us has a military base in Qatar. What does Hillary Clinton have to do with any of this? These are long standing US policies that existed long before she took office.

Make a point, or don't say anything I guess. Heavily edited videos that aren't on subject have no point. The guy got punched. We were talking about violently attacking people who vote differently from us, remember?
People already know my opinions on sheisty campaign tactics, I get called a nut for it occasionally depending on who I'm siding with. I'm just opinion that both groups are doing it, while you are of the opinion that only one does. We were talking about the liberals, and I was making a point that it goes both ways.
I guaranfuckingtee you plenty of young alt-right Trump supporters have gone out and damaged and stolen some Clinton signs and if she had a star on some hollywood cross walk, people would be hammering it too. But this some dirty Clinton tactic if it happens to the other side. It's blind to make such petty shit into a political argument for or against one side when you know very well it's the nature of the beast and everyone's doing it.

Wait, you think people are more afraid to voice support in this election for Trump than they are for Clinton? I suppose it depends on your location, economic circumstances, etc. At my job in the city voicing support for Trump is social suicide. In town where I live, voicing support for Clinton is social suicide. There are a few noisy Trump supporters but there are also a lot of people who support him who dont talk about it Not that they won't. They just don't. Which is a breath of fresh air. Same goes for a lot of Clinton supporters, there are a few banner wavers and the rest are just sitting back letting them take all the damage for exposing themselves like that

It's sad that we need to worry for the safety of ourselves and our family just for voicing our opinions

I'm just sad that our nation's greatest treasure, the hollywood star walk of fame, has to worry about it's safety and the safety of it's surface. Crazy times we live in.

They're a violent bunch, partisan hacks.
Still safer than sports fans.

Trump supporters are too busy building bombs in their basements to protest on the street

If as many Trump supporters were building bombs as Hillary supporters were attacking people, you'd have some real fucking problems on your hands
