Red Spot

I have started to see red spots (like mold but red) slowly start to appear in my jars. This is strange. I have never seen it before. It is a very small spot, but very interesting. What could this be? And what should I do to remove it?

Danger will robinson! Sterilize those jars, throw out the substrates, and try again...

They're super small though, might be able to just cut 'em off.

Don't see how you propose to cut off spots in a sealed jar. Sounds desperate and very risky.
