VR headsets spreading ocular herpes 1

A VR developer contracted eye herpes from sharing gear. Its going around. One more reason not to use VR headsets. I think in a few years we'll find out it turns healthy brains into swiss cheese or something. VR is no good.

I never heard of ocular herpes before, but when I googled it, that was one scary page of information.

When I go to music shops, I blow into all wind instruments I can find before the staff tell me to take a hike.
Life is about giving as well as taking.

I don't know, but I do love some asada tacos. Beef, cilantro, onion, corn tortillas. That's all you need to be goddamn delicious. I don't know how those Mexicans make such a simple dish taste that good, but they do.
My favorite taco shop opens in an hour, I might go there for breakfast.

LOL, I don't see many of your posts, but I estimate 80-90% of those that I see contain some sort of reference to mexican food. Do lots of mexicans have herpes or something? Or did you just change the subject cause talking about mexican food is better than talking about disease?

At least 90% of my posts do not contain any mentions of Mexican food, maybe even higher than that. Maybe as high as 97% percent.
I'm not sure about Mexican herpes and did not do any word association there or anything, I just like tacos. What, you don't like tacos? I wonder if you've ever even had tacos over there in Britain, let alone real ones. The fucked up thing is there's more of a chance of you having eaten a taco than a biscuit. And when I say "biscuit" I mean a real biscuit like we eat in the Southern US, not a cookie. Biscuits mystify britons and they can't even really wrap their heads around them, they just thinks it's a scone, but it's not even the same texture or density or flavor. Some of them have eaten shitty versions of them at McDonalds on their trip to America, but that's usually it.

Maybe it's just that thread in OTD. Lots of talk about mexican food.
And no, we got fuck all proper mexican food here. I mean I'm sure I could find it if I went looking, but it's certainly not mainstream. A few chain type places have opened in the city, but we all know a chain aint selling the real deal. Carribean food however, is a very different matter. I know exactly where to find the good shit, but it's about 30 mins riding to get to the semi good shit, and about an hour to get to the amazing shit.
Luckily for me, Carribean happens to be my favourite cuisine. I can cook a fucking mean jerk chicken, but it's a couple of days work to get it just right. It's about the only thing I can cook aside of steak though, since I fucking hate cooking.
But, set me straight here - Mexican seems to be the food of choice aside of American style cooking over there right? Only talks of cuisine I hear en masse from your side of the world is the home cooked stuff that America is well known for or Mexican.
Over here, it's British style stuff, or Chinese or Indian which are your mainstream - and the latter two are some bastardised version designed for the UK market which is nothing like the food you get when you visit either of those two countries, where the food is amazing. Never go in an Indian or Chinese restaurant if you come here, they're fucking shit.

only 2 types of herpes out of 100 actually spread cancer and if you wear a condom and keep your boxers on the chances of getting it are like less than 1 in 10, 1 in 10 times out of the year
it's not the epidemic they want you to beleive at least there's no point in being afraid of it, it's a skin disease

Chinese restaurants are mostly the same as that here. Mexican food probably is the top ethnic food here, but that only makes sense since them and Canada are our only neighbors.
What do you think of as "home cooked stuff America is known for"?

That doesn't surprise me, 'they' always feed bullshit. But it does seem to be this big bad thing to watch out for these days, even if it is just a skin condition. That's why I don't understand why the frequency with which I heard 'aids' (deadly) as a child has been replaced by the frequency with which I hear 'herpes' (a mild annoyance) as an adult these days.

Mostly deep south type cooking, slow cooked meat, and burgers. A less cultured Englishman than myself would probably just say burgers.
And then there's the way your tipping system works, which from the British perspective, makes no sense at all. I guess you don't have to deal with that when you buy Mexican food.

I wonder why canadian cuisine never made it big in the US?

a well cultured englishman would have known we do deep fried candy bars, deep fried butter, deep fried bacon with chocolate, deep fried lard, deep fried sandwiches and pretty much anything else that can be fried will be fried
you should really try the mississippi crock pot opossum

Probably because Canadian cuisine isn't significantly different from American cuisine, with the exception of some stuff of French Canadian origin.

I found that to get true GOOD delicious tex-mex one has to be in Texas. I miss true tex-mex food here in CO. There are good authentic mexican places, but tex-mex is not here! (I haven't found it yet). Love me some tacos!
