Get a big ass thing of fresh chicken wings - fresh are way better than the frozen and way cheeper too.  Just cut the wing tips off and toss them and then cut the drummy and the other wingy thingy apart.  This leaves you with two wingy pieces.  Repeat for all wings.  A family sized pack will give you 40 pieces and should cost about $5.

Deep fry the wings in peanut oil until they float - this is usually about 15 minutes or so - I usually give em an extra 5 minutes or so after they float - I like em crispy.

One big bottle of Frank's Red Hot - Franks is the absolute best and the original for the Buffalo wing. 

Add in one stick of butter - oh shut the fuck up already - get more fat.

Add crushed red peppers to your desired temp.  I like about half a bottle.

When the wings are done in the deep fry, toss em in with the sauce.

Coat and serve with blue cheese dressing or if you are like us westies, dip em in ranch.

Snip off the wingtips and seperate the wing from the drummy


Since I don't have a real deep fryer I decided my fondue pot would suffice.  My wings were still a little wet so the hot oil wanted  to jump out and burn me right in the eyeball.  Next time Im gonna drop them in and run like hell.  Anyways get as many as you can in the fryer as long as they are covered in oil.



Start preparing your sauce.  Remember I cut the recipe in half so thats why there is only half a stick of butter in the mixture.


Let wings drain a little and stir'em up in the hotsauce and serve with celery and blue cheese.


Dip and eat up
