It is in Limacella and actually growing right in with the Armillaria that I was picking.  I didn't see it was different until I picked it and the stem was viscid.

Paxillus cuprinus

Quote:

Although traditionally eaten in many parts of Europe, Paxillus involutus is now known to cause Immune Hemolytic Anemia. This anemia, which appears suddenly after years of consumption of the mushroom, can be fatal.

*note - P. cuprinus is a west coast species and I am assuming it is also toxic.
