Battery should not affect the belt at all. In my opinion, I would do a google search on your year and make and im sure you will find something about it. My cars belt squeeks aswell, but only on a cold start. It will chirp pretty loudly then go to idle. Doesn't stay squeeking. The chirp is really loud, and I talked to dealership and said it was pretty normal for my make of vehicle to chirp on startup. Was told to just ignore it the service manager went through everything on the belt and no dice. Your situation sounds different, and I would guess its a loose pulley or something letting the belt move around a little too much.

new puppies are born dead do.
you can try to use some soapy solution on the belt while its squealing. if it goes away, then replace your belt.
if it doesnt something else is going on like a pulley.

Thats my suggestion too.
U can buy belt lube at auto stores. Im guessing a pulley is worn out, maybe wobbling or the belt needs to be changed out. Maybe need a new pulley somewhere.
Have u checked the condition of belt? Could be damaged.
But start with lubing up the belt.

could be the belt that drives the air, my car has the same one loose. Its loud and annoying as hell and random unless the airs on it doesnt usally do it. It causes no harm and in my Civic you basically have to take everything out to get to it cause' its at the friggin bottom. what a pain.

Yeah it sounds more like a bearing than a belt to me. They squeak as well. Be sure not to overtighten the belt.
Since you can recreate this at a standstill, why not pop the hood and try to figure where it is coming from.

Might help to make a cone for your ear so you can pinpoint the location of the squeeling.

Belts squeal when they're getting loose. Its usually time to replace it. If it only squeals when you're running the AC like you said it might just be your accessories belt. I suggest doing some experiments like turning on and off the AC or heater and seeing if it stops. If it stops its just the accessories belt in which case I probably wouldn't even bother changing it because it won't leave you stranded on the side of the road, unless you really find it annoying.

AC and Headlights being on both put more load on the belt so I'd imagine it is slipping. They make belt conditioner spray or you could just get a new belt. You get what you pay for with belts so get a good one if you're gonna replace it.

Buy a Goodyear Gatorback belt. The belt being 1yr old doesn't mean much if you didn't buy a quality belt to begin with.

Yeah plus if the belt sits on a rack in some warehouse or on a store shelf for too long it loses it's swag.

Another idea I had. Often a loud stereo can make a squeal disappear. Not sure how it works exactly, but it should solve you problem for the time being.
